The Japan massacre was over. The European fortress was erased.
But MRD's war wasn't finished yet.
As the helicopter soared over the ocean, Mirshad sat back, staring into the night sky.
His mind was calm, but his body felt different. The poison hadn't harmed him, but for the first time, he felt something… unusual.
He pressed his Sirius ring.
"Sirius, scan my body. Anything unusual?"
A soft blue light glowed from his ring, scanning every inch of him.
After a few seconds, Sirius responded.
"Sir, everything is normal."
Mirshad raised an eyebrow.
"What about the poison? The bullets?"
"Already dismantled. Your body's cells absorbed and destroyed every trace of the poison. The bullets were pushed out by your skin and your wounds regenerated within seconds.
Nothing to worry about, sir. Maybe you're just feeling this because today… you used 50% of your power."
Mirshad's eyes narrowed.
"Only 50%? I felt like I used everything."
Sirius paused for a moment before responding.
"No, sir. You've only ever used above 50% of your power in these fights.
Your full 100% power will only be awaken when you are completely out of control—both physically and emotionally."
Mirshad leaned forward.
"And if that happens?"
Sirius' voice deepened.
"Sir… if you ever use 100% of your power without control, this entire Earth will be destroyed within a minute."
A brief silence filled the helicopter.
Mirshad exhaled.
"So you're saying… I'm a nuclear bomb waiting to explode?"
Sirius replied in a monotone voice.
"Not exactly, sir. You are something more dangerous than any nuclear weapon ever created."
Mirshad sat back, letting that thought sink in.
After a few moments, Mirshad turned his attention to the pilot.
"How long until we arrive?"
The pilot checked his instruments.
"Approximately six hours, sir. You can take a rest. You're perfectly fine."
Mirshad smirked.
"Thanks for your support, brother. And I have to say… your missile attack today? Pure perfection."
The pilot grinned.
"To be honest, when they launched a missile against us, I thought we were going down. But that perfect counterattack? I just did my job, sir. I'm honored to fight beside a legend like you."
Mirshad shook his head, smiling.
"War or peace, whether it's my soldiers, my workers, or my closest allies, everyone with me is my family. And that includes you, brother.
So don't call me 'sir.' Call me Mirshad. Or brother."
The pilot looked stunned for a moment before nodding.
"Sure… brother."
Sirius suddenly spoke up.
"Sir, if that's the case, can I call you brother too?"
Mirshad smirked.
"You are my war partner. You can call me anything, depending on the situation."
Sirius replied instantly.
"Got it… brother."
The pilot laughed.
"I think your 'partner' is jealous, brother."
Mirshad chuckled.
"I know."
"Sirius, are you jealous?"
Sirius responded instantly.
"100%, brother."
The laughter inside the helicopter grew louder.
As the atmosphere calmed, Mirshad leaned forward.
"We have time before we arrive, so tell me—how was today's war? Everything went as planned?"
Sirius replied.
"Everything was executed perfectly, sir. However… I'm going to upgrade one thing."
Mirshad raised an eyebrow.
"And what's that?"
"Your suit activation."
Mirshad smirked.
"Let me guess. You're still mad that I forgot to wear it?"
Sirius' voice was sharp.
"Sir, in Japan you wore the suit. But in Eastern Europe, you forgot. That's the only reason they got a chance to fire those poison bullets at you."
Mirshad nodded.
"So what kind of upgrade are you planning?"
"I'm installing an automatic instant compact mode.
From now on, if you ever forget to activate your suit in a battleground, I will release it instantly for your safety."
Mirshad's smirk widened.
"Perfect. You're doing a great job."
Sirius replied with a slight humor in its tone.
"Thank you… brother."
"Brother, you have a message from Amir."
Mirshad sat up straight.
"Play it."
Sirius projected the audio.
Amir's voice came through, laughing.
"Brother, how's your war going? Over here, your Sophia is acting crazy, like she lost something.
She's behaving differently.
I'd suggest after your next execution, you come and visit her."
The message ended.
For a moment, Mirshad went completely silent.
His mind shifted.
He thought about Sophia. About the way she held him before he left.
For the first time in this entire war, his mind was somewhere else.
Sirius noticed the change and quickly spoke.
"Sir, should I inform our team that you are coming?"
Mirshad's voice was calmer now.
"Not yet. If we inform them now, they will think something happened to me.
Inform them 10 minutes before we arrive."
Sirius acknowledged the command.
"Understood, sir."
Mirshad turned back to the pilot.
"Tell me, brother. Do you have a family?"
The pilot hesitated before responding.
"I did. My wife passed away four years ago due to lung cancer."
"I have a 5-year-old son… but he also has cancer.
Doctors say he has only six months left to live."
Mirshad went silent.
"I don't have any other relatives. My wife and I had a love marriage, and after that, our families abandoned us.
We lived together for 15 years. She was an angel—a perfect wife and mother."
The pilot sighed.
"Now, my son is dying too."
"I bring him with me wherever I go. I want to give him as much happiness as I can before he leaves this world."
Mirshad placed a hand on the pilot's shoulder.
"I'm sorry for your loss, brother."
The pilot smiled faintly.
"It's okay. I'm not sad. My wife gave me good memories. And my son… at least I gave him a happy life."
Suddenly, Mirshad's phone vibrated.
A secret message from Sirius.
"Brother… your blood can cure any disease, even cancer."
"We already tested it during your underground transformation."
"Don't tell him yet. Give him a surprise. This is how you win human hearts."
Mirshad read the message and smirked.
He touched the pilot's shoulder.
"Where is your son now?"
The pilot smiled.
"On the secret island."
Mirshad's smirk widened.
"Perfect."
Then, he leaned back.
"Wake me up before we arrive."
As the helicopter flew toward its destination, Mirshad closed his eyes, planning his next move.
