My patience was wearing thin, and it was taking all my self control to not reach out and rip out the throat of this vampire right now. The only reason I wasn't doing that right now was cause I didn't want to scare lilac away. After all, the boy had witnessed me kill three people today and was yet to break down or anything, but I know that wasn't something he had witnessed before so I didn't want to overdo it. However, the sight of this vampire was making it hard for me to still hold on to my patience.
Since the moment I saw this vampire patting lilac's head and the two of them laughing together, I had suspected that he had a thing for lilac. After conversing with lilac and having confirmation from him that there was nothing going on between them, I had calmed down a little and had decided to take his word for it, but I should have suspected that this vampire might not realize when he's supposed to back down.
