Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Imitation Model Weapons

"The Astral Express crew, the builders of Belobog, the Stellaron Hunters, the Luofu Xianzhou who are on their way — tsk, Jarilo-VI really knows how to attract attention."

As she laid it all out, Topaz immediately felt the situation growing more complicated.

The Interastral Peace Corporation and the Luofu Xianzhou were both top-tier forces in the universe.

The Trailblazers' footprints were spread across the cosmos, and they could hold their own in front of any faction.

The Stellaron Hunters might've been captured, but it was only two of them, and even then, Topaz couldn't be sure they'd be able to stop them if those two were determined to leave.

And to top it all off, at the center of this entire incident — Jarilo's god.

----------------------------------

"Sigh, the more I think about it, the more confused I get. Numpy, why is the situation on Jarilo so troublesome?"

Topaz shook her head, taking the opportunity to stroke Numpy twice with a bit of force. Before Numpy could react, it only felt a pair of inexplicably large hands brush over its body, and then nothing more.

Its back felt a little hot.

...

The arrival of the Stellaron Hunters stirred up a slight ripple in Jarilo, but didn't cause too much of an impact.

The citizens were keen to discuss what kind of enemy the Lord God was fighting that day.

Knock knock.

"Come in."

As the sound of boots on the floor approached, Bronya, who had been working at her desk, looked up at the person who entered.

"Pela, you're back."

It was indeed Pela who had returned, and at the moment she was holding a stack of documents and met Bronya's gaze.

"Lord Guardian, this is a proposal recently submitted by the R&D Department. Please review it."

"I've told you, no need to be so formal." Bronya helplessly took the documents from Pela's hands.

Pela was excellent in every way—responsible, patient, and highly capable. The only issue was that she was too serious when working. But at other times, Pela could get along well with everyone and wasn't so formal in how she addressed her.

After flipping through it briefly, Bronya nodded in satisfaction.

"This plan is feasible. Let's proceed with this. I'll go find Serval later and ask her for help."

As Belobog's strongest mechanic, Serval's skills were unanimously recognized by everyone. Many of Belobog's current facilities were designed and developed by her.

"We must develop enough strength to protect the Lord God. We can't always rely on the Lord God to help us through every crisis!"

The recent appearance of the Stellaron Hunters had sounded a serious alarm for everyone in Belobog who was in the know, even dampening the excitement brought by the rebooting of the Engine of Creation.

Even though the Stellaron Hunters were among the most wanted criminals in the universe, and even the IPC couldn't do anything about them, that didn't mean they could comfortably hide behind Godzilla and enjoy the protection it provided!

Jarilo must develop formidable strength to protect the world's best Lord Godzilla!

The documents lay spread open on the desk, revealing the fierce and domineering appearance of the weapons without question.

...

"Mr. Svarog, here you go."

Taking the part handed over by Clara, Svarog focused intently on assembling the weapon in his hands.

"Clara, what are you guys doing here?" March 7th's lively voice rang out. Clara looked toward the sound and saw March 7th waving at her and Mr. Svarog while bouncing over. Beside her stood Stelle and the purple-haired woman whom everyone had warned was very, very bad.

As they spoke, the group had already approached Clara and Svarog.

Stelle curiously looked around the room.

It was similar to Serval's workshop, seemingly built by Clara and Svarog themselves.

"Clara said she wanted Mr. Svarog to have even stronger weapons, so he could protect more people, and wouldn't have to work so hard. After all, Clara has seen those really, really fierce monsters." Clara said softly.

Having witnessed the sky-darkening swarms and the endless Antimatter Legion, Clara felt an extreme lack of security.

Now, she only felt safe when she was by Svarog's side or in Belobog.

Jarilo's Lord God was sheltering everyone in Belobog.

"These weapons are quite special, huh? They look pretty scary."

March 7th picked up a cannon tube and held it to her eye like a telescope. Stelle saw March 7th's beautiful pupils reflected perfectly on the other end of the cannon tube, as if they were part of the pattern on it.

"Confirmed as a Trailblazer, conversation permitted."

Clara let out a soft chuckle, "This is a weapon Mr. Svarog set up based on data from the database and the attacks of the Lord God."

"An imitation of that guy?"

Kafka picked up a round cannon tube. Judging by its shape, it should be the type mounted on the chest — the caliber was terrifying, and the exact power was unknown.

"If it's a weapon modeled after that big guy, the power must be pretty great, right?"

"Clara doesn't know, but Mr. Svarog said that weapons made like this are very powerful and can wipe out lots of monsters."

Clara didn't know how to make the weapons more powerful, but she trusted Mr. Svarog.

"Hey, don't even think about messing around with this. You're not allowed to play with stuff like that," March 7th said bluntly to Kafka.

She didn't have a good impression of this bad woman.

"Hm?" Suddenly, March 7th felt a chill on the back of her head. She turned around, and the dark muzzle of a cannon was pointed straight at her forehead.

"Bang!" A hand suddenly reached out.

"Waaah!" March 7th flinched in fright, and then heard a familiar burst of laughter.

"Ugh~! You're so mean!"

"Haha, sorry, sorry." Stelle used the cannon tube to shield her head as March 7th's hand kept hitting it, making a dull thumping sound. After several hits, not only did Stelle not get the lesson March 7th intended, but March 7th's own hand was smacked red and sore.

"Ugh, I'm telling your big brother!"

March 7th looked like she was about to cry, holding her small hand and pouting in grievance.

But Stelle wasn't the same as before — she'd already learned how to divert attention!

"March, what do you think would happen if we used this kind of weapon on my bat and your arrows?"

"Of course it'd... hey! That actually sounds like a good idea!"

March 7th's eyes lit up.

What a great idea!

"Svarog, can you make one for us too?"

"..." Looking down at the two little shorties, Svarog finally understood the meaning of silence.

"Weapon type mismatch. Production denied."

Bats and bows really had no business joining the fun!

Hearing Svarog's refusal, the two excited little faces instantly drooped.

"Hehe, I might have a way, you know."

At that moment, Kafka chuckled softly.

March 7th immediately grew alert, "Hey, don't think you can pull any tricks. No matter how amazing it sounds, I won't be tempted. And don't even think about running — I'm telling you, our conductor is waiting outside Jarilo, and when the time comes, Himeko will blast you with the satellite and the conductor will run you over with the train."

Hearing March 7th's wariness — which was practically on the level of a Lord-Ravager — Kafka could only let out a helpless sigh.

"What a pity." She had wanted Silver Wolf to gather some more materials to swap out equipment for the two little cuties.

"Yo, everyone's here, huh? Looks lively."

A cheerful voice rang out, drawing everyone's attention.

"Serval? Why are you here?" Stelle looked at the newcomer in surprise.

During her time in Jarilo, she had learned that Serval usually stayed by her big brother's side or holed up in her little workshop tinkering with research projects that Belobog wouldn't allow.

After all, no one kept her in check around Boss, and no one dared to.

Serval was absolutely living her best life, occasionally even dancing right in front of Cocolia.
