"The next match is yours—Hua Lantang and Ye Zhi. Do your best to win." Xu Yuan reminded them.
Tang Wulin gave a thumbs-up gesture.
"Don't worry, Big Brother Xu. Neither Gu Yue nor I will lose."
"Please welcome the participants for the next match!"
"Next up, from Shrek Academy, Tang Wulin and Gu Yue, versus Hua Lantang and Ye Zhi, known as the Wolf King and Pagoda King from the Monster Academy!"
Tang Wulin and Gu Yue slowly stepped onto the arena, their gazes fixed on Hua Lantang and Ye Zhi across from them.
At the referee's signal, all four released their martial souls.
Tang Wulin's three purple soul rings immediately drew attention.

A confident smile spread across Hua Lantang's face.
Ye Zhi reminded him not to underestimate their opponents.
"Don't let your guard down!"
Five purple soul rings rose from beneath her feet.

One by one, beams of light landed on Hua Lantang.
By now, Hua Lantang's martial soul had fully manifested. His entire body was covered in silvery wolf fur, and his hands had transformed into dragon-like claws. Beneath the fur, dark scales subtly protected his body.
His figure was massive, with a dragon tail swaying behind him, exuding a faint but unmistakable aura of dragon might.

Another wave of Blue Silver Emperor erupted, but this time it wasn't aimed at restraining Hua Lantang. Instead, it began siphoning elemental energy from the air.
Elemental Stripping.
The imposing presence of the Dragon Wolf instantly weakened.
Ye Zhi's expression shifted slightly upon seeing this.
The Dragon Wolf's strength partly relied on elemental energy.
The Silver Moon Wolf King bloodline inherently possessed the ability to manipulate elements, excelling in spiritual attributes. Combined with True Dragon bloodline, which specialized in raw power, the resulting Dragon Wolf leaned toward offensive prowess. However, the source of its strength still stemmed from elemental energy.
By stimulating itself with elemental energy and leveraging the True Dragon bloodline within, the Dragon Wolf unleashed astonishing power. Even with only half True Dragon bloodline, its strength rivaled that of soul masters wielding True Dragon martial souls.
Yet, Tang Wulin's soul skill had an Elemental Stripping effect.
Even Tang Wulin hadn't expected such a pronounced result.

Seeing this, Gu Yue immediately raised her right hand, and a vortex of elemental energy formed above her head.
Various elements converged and, under her control, descended toward the Dragon Wolf.
Rather than unleashing devastating damage, the elemental storm instead assisted Tang Wulin's Blue Silver Emperor in stripping away the surrounding elemental energy!
The Dragon Wolf's presence weakened even further.
Still, its physical strength remained formidable.
Hua Lantang roared in anger and charged forward.
His silvery figure swiftly lunged toward Tang Wulin.
Using ghost-like footwork, Tang Wulin evaded Hua Lantang's claw strikes while deploying the Blue Silver Emperor to block his path.
As Hua Lantang roared again and swung his dragon claw downward, Tang Wulin revealed a triumphant expression.
Beneath his feet, the three purple soul rings vanished, replaced by two golden halos.
