Chapter 250 - Chapter 250: Tang Wulin’s Advancement

The Netherworld White Tiger stepped forward fiercely.

A faint outline of armor appeared on its right front claw—Wu Siduo's battle armor materialized on the Netherworld White Tiger's paw.

Long Yue's expression also shifted slightly.

Massive brown scales rapidly covered his body. Each scale was circular and enormous, resembling halved spheres protruding outward. A long tail emerged behind him, his muscles bulged terrifyingly, and his shoulders broadened immensely.

Long Yue unleashed a mighty dragon roar.

The roar echoed across the arena, and even the audience hundreds of meters away felt an overwhelming pressure, struggling to breathe.

It was as if they were there in person.

Long Yue clenched his dragon claws into fists and collided with the Netherworld White Tiger's claws.

BANG!

The Netherworld White Tiger was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground.

Struggling to rise, the Netherworld White Tiger gazed at Long Yue with eyes full of fear.

Over the past two years, her soul power had reached level 48, and with the enhancement of four pieces of battle armor, her Netherworld White Tiger form was no longer something to be underestimated—it could at least hold its own against a Soul Emperor.

But before this Long Yue, she was utterly powerless.

Reflecting on that single punch, it had been utterly devastating.

"You're quite strong. Among four-ringed soul masters, any one of you is nearly at the pinnacle, even more impressive than I was back then. Give yourselves five years, and perhaps even I wouldn't be your match. But right now, before me, you have no resistance!"

Long Yue's eyes glowed with a dark red light.

He didn't believe he'd ever be surpassed.

The Soul Ancestor stage?

Back then, he hadn't yet experienced what he had now.

Long Yue glanced toward Le Zhengyu, noticing that he was still preparing to attack Dai Yun'er. Suddenly, his upper body surged upward, and a colossal shadow appeared behind him. The shadow constantly shifted forms—it alternated between a massive wingless dragon and an ancient, towering city. Upon closer inspection, one could see that the city rested on the dragon's back, while the dragon itself transformed into a sprawling mountain range.

"Is this the Mountain Dragon King?"

In the Shrek viewing box, Tang Wulin's gaze grew heavy.

From Long Yue's presence, he felt immense pressure.

This wasn't due to bloodline superiority but rather the sheer power of his bloodline fluctuations, which even Tang Wulin, with his Golden Dragon King bloodline, couldn't ignore.

"Tell me, do you think you can suppress him with your bloodline power?" Xu Yuan asked lightly with a smile.

Tang Wulin forced a bitter smile and shook his head.

"If my bloodline continues to grow, I'm confident I'll surpass him. But for now, my bloodline is still too weak—more accurately, I'm too weak."

Once again, Tang Wulin felt an urgent need to grow stronger.

He had already felt this way countless times because of Xu Yuan's overwhelming strength. But every time he improved, he discovered that Xu Yuan was still advancing faster than him.

Now, not only Xu Yuan but also countless other exceptionally talented soul masters had emerged, increasing the pressure on him.

Grow stronger!

"Old Tang said my body absolutely cannot handle the sixth seal anytime soon. But aside from the Golden Dragon King's seals, what else can I rapidly improve?"

Tang Wulin's thoughts raced.

Soul power!

Battle armor!

However, improving soul power wouldn't yield immediate results. His strength was rooted in his bloodline power, and his reliance on his martial soul was minimal.

He knew this all too well.

"My cultivation has become distorted," he realized.

His innate strength was even weaker than the external forces he had fused with.

When the power of the Golden Dragon King's bloodline could no longer advance, his own progress would hit a bottleneck.

"Perhaps this is my chance to break through these barriers."

"Cultivate soul power, cultivate my martial soul, and surpass the power of the Golden Dragon King through my martial soul!"

Tang Wulin's gaze hardened with determination.

Breaking the sixth seal might take at least three years—if it could even be done.

So he would focus on raising his soul power—to level 50!

"The efficiency of my cultivation in the ocean is very high. After returning to the Federation from Star Luo in a year, during the three-month voyage, I should aim to break through two minor bottlenecks."

Before that, during this year on the Star Luo Continent, he must first break through to level 40, then push to at least level 43!

Numerous thoughts raced through Tang Wulin's mind, and he quickly set a one-year goal.

By the time he returned, his soul power would reach level 43. By the time he arrived at the Federation, it would reach level 45!

---

Long Yue swung his dragon claw, seemingly dragging mountains and rivers along with it. The terrifying force compressed the air until it exploded.

Le Zhengyu's face changed drastically.

Gripping the Holy Sword of the Angel, he slashed down fiercely. All four of his soul rings flashed simultaneously, and his eight pieces of battle armor shone to their peak, unleashing his strongest attack.

BANG!

Le Zhengyu was sent tumbling through the air, barely managing to stabilize himself.

At this moment, his hands trembled uncontrollably, and the sacred flames on the holy sword dimmed.

Long Yue took a step forward, and a massive fissure tore through the ground beneath him.

With a fierce stomp, he leapt into the air like a small mountain, plummeting toward Wu Siduo.

Wu Siduo's tiger eyes revealed both awe and caution. Faint soul rings flickered within her body, and layers of energy shields condensed around her. The giant tiger's form became even more robust and powerful.

She raised her upper body and collided with the descending Long Yue.

BANG!

Wu Siduo rolled across the arena floor, leaving a deep groove on the surface of the rare metal platform.

Long Yue, appearing almost frenzied, prepared to stomp forward again.

Seeing this, Le Zhengyu gritted his teeth and erupted once more, swinging the Holy Sword.

Long Yue turned his head, a flash of savagery crossing his crimson eyes.

With a fierce swipe of his dragon claw—

Le Zhengyu was sent flying, and the state of his martial soul possession vanished.

Wu Siduo's Netherworld White Tiger form also began to waver and grow translucent.

Realizing something was amiss with his condition, Long Yue took a deep breath where he stood. His mountain-like figure continued to rise and fall, deterring anyone from approaching.

The Netherworld White Tiger's form grew increasingly translucent, and Wu Siduo eventually exited the state entirely.

Le Zhengyu and Wu Siduo both adopted postures signaling their withdrawal from the fight. The referee stepped forward to inquire.

Would they continue?

The two exchanged glances, their expressions filled with defeat.

They had already experienced the overwhelming power of Long Yue. Continuing the fight would be meaningless.

They shook their heads.

"This match goes to the Spirit Dragon duo!"

---

In the Shrek viewing box

Le Zhengyu and Wu Siduo returned, and Xu Yuan consoled them.

"You two did well. At the very least, you've probed the limits of his strength."

"Did he really use his full strength?" Le Zhengyu sneered bitterly, not believing it himself.

Long Yue's attacks earlier had been so casual—a single slap sent him flying, unable to maintain his martial soul possession.

"No, you've already achieved enough," Xu Yuan said calmly. "As participants, you may not have noticed, but Long Yue was already overheating back then."
