When Felix showed up at the door connecting their rooms again, Kade was sitting by the table set with breakfast, the mouthwatering aroma of food and coffee wafting in the air. It wasn't as fancy of a breakfast as they had at the hotel the day before - no oysters sprinkled with edible gold - but it still looked more like something cooked by a professional, high-class chef rather than a homemade meal.
Which it probably was.
"Want to eat something before we go?" Hearing the Omega enter, Kade lifted his eyes from his phone. "I had breakfast delivered to our room so that… What are you wearing?" As he looked at Felix, his grin immediately turned into a slight frown.
Felix plopped down on the seat. Although his stomach was all tied in knots from nerves, and he didn't have much appetite, it was still better to swallow something, or else he wouldn't have any energy later. The food was already here anyway, and once again, it was too much, even for both of them.
