"I'm really not reconciled... A monster like Ayr wasn't drawn into my crew?" Charlotte Linlin muttered with deep regret.

Having fully assessed Ayr's power, Linlin had tried numerous times to recruit him—each effort ending in rejection.

She even considered leveraging her youth, beauty, and charm to seduce him into alliance.

But it was no use. Ayr wasn't interested in her—not even slightly. In fact, it almost seemed like he found her presence repulsive.

"Gu la la la... To have wounded Captain Rocks... it seems Ayr has already gained the captain's approval," Whitebeard laughed heartily, still shocked. "To think someone could land a blow on that man... it's no small feat."

If it were anyone else, injuring Rocks would've been dismissed as an exaggeration.

But with Ayr... it was real. Alarming, even.

"Damn it... What the hell is going on with this guy?! How could he possess this kind of strength?!" John stared at Ayr with disbelief and growing resentment.

"Oi, John," Golden Lion grinned, lighting a cigar, "that bet's mine now. Don't forget the 700 million berries you owe me. I want it today. Or do I need to spell out the consequences?"

Suddenly remembering the wager, Golden Lion's smirk turned deadly serious as he cast his eyes on Silver Axe as well.

That win—700 million berries—was enough to flip his fortunes completely!

"Mamamama... And don't forget my seven hundred million too, John," Charlotte Linlin said, licking her lips greedily. "If I don't see payment, your corpse is going to make friends with the sea floor."

Their tone was playful, but the threats were real. They were seasoned pirates, after all.

And all of this came from acknowledging Ayr's terrifying strength. For Big Mom, today's profits were massive.

"Damn it all..." John clenched his fists, his body shaking. Rage mixed with helplessness.

There was no doubt anymore—Ayr had earned Rocks' acknowledgment.

Which meant John had lost the bet.

And that bet... had escalated beyond reason.

At first, he had only wagered 400 million. But he'd doubled down, then tripled it—drunk on pride and denial.

Now he owed 2.1 billion berries in total—just from the lost bets.

And that didn't include the 2 billion he was conned out of by Ayr several days ago...

Or the three Devil Fruits he had lost in a previous deal.

It was enough to make a man want to jump off the ship.

---

On the battlefield.

Rocks D. Xebec sheathed his blade, his aura still dominating the cratered ground. He landed in front of Ayr with a casual leap, the ferocity of earlier now replaced with solemnity.

"Impressive, Ayr," he said, a smirk curling his lips. "You've earned my acknowledgment. You'll receive 3 billion berries, eight Devil Fruits, and one Mythical Zoan-class Devil Fruit."

Despite the wounds he'd taken, Rocks brushed them off like scratches. His pride remained untouched.

"Thank you, Captain Rocks," Ayr said, bowing slightly, then re-sheathing his blade.

This battle had revealed to him what kind of monster stood at the top of the world.

Yet Ayr wasn't one to be awed or humbled. He had his own path, and he walked it with clarity.

After all, he had a system.

Eventually, he would surpass Rocks.

Right now, Ayr was only using the chakra of Kurama and the first five Tailed Beasts.

His Sage Eye—the evolved form of his Rinnegan-like power—was still sealed.

He hadn't even tapped into the Ten Tails yet!

Once all his powers were unlocked, Ayr knew without a doubt—he would become the true peak of the world!

"You'll be rewarded further once I become the sovereign of this world," Rocks added, clapping him on the shoulder.

"I understand," Ayr nodded.

Though outwardly respectful, inwardly he sneered.

'Don't think I don't know your game, Rocks. Once you unify the world, I'll be your first target. You'll have no more use for me, right?'

Despite the suspicion, Ayr remained loyal.

He would fight for the Rocks Pirates until the bitter end—because he had made that pact upon joining.

But deep down, he knew how it would all end.

Rocks would die at the Valley of the Gods.

And Ayr? He would live on.

---

Ayr glanced at the panel—he was just 80 points away from fully advancing the Sage Body and unlocking the Sage Eye.

With it, he would break through to the next tier entirely.

He grinned. Today's fight was worth it.

---

Just then, a scholar from Ohara sprinted across the battlefield, his robe flapping as he shouted:

"Captain Rocks!! The final indicator of Uranus Uranus—it's been deciphered!!!"

"…It's finally deciphered?" Rocks' voice was low, reverberating with anticipation.

"HAHAHA!" he burst out laughing. "Now that we've obtained Uranus's final coordinates, it won't be long before the Rocks Pirates rise to total dominance!"

"To think I once doubted joining this crew," a random pirate muttered. "Following Captain Rocks to rule the world... there's nothing greater!"

The moment the announcement was made, the entire crew surged in excitement.

Every pirate, every thug, every scholar around Rocks cheered with jubilation.

But not everyone shared the mood.

Among the high-ranking cadres—Golden Lion, Linlin, Silver Axe—a grim silence loomed.

They hadn't joined to help Rocks become King of the World.

They were here for their own ambitions.

The promise of Uranus didn't thrill them—it unnerved them.

Still, Rocks' eyes glinted with obsession as he stared at the scholar.

"Tell me—where is Uranus Uranus?!"
