DERRICK'S POV
Liam had not been joking. He meant every word that he had uttered when being dragged out. In less than two days, the news of him gathering his warriors and getting ready to set out to come attack had already reached me.
Perhaps, I would be using this to show all those people that being intimate or in love with a man doesn't make me weak. When I take his head, I would show the world that I did not need a woman next to me.
I stood near the edge of the pack territory, staring at the line where the trees ended and our land began. My wolf paced inside me, growling low, restless, and angry.
Nathan stood next to me. He was quiet; he could feel the shift in the air too. He was probably just as disturbed as I was. But there was nothing really to be scared of.
I heard rushing footsteps behind me, and when I turned, Felix came running towards me from the training grounds, his breathing hard and fast.
"Alpha!" he shouted. "They're coming! Alpha Liam, and he's not alone."
