Nathan's POV
I waited to see who was coming, and when the person appeared, it was Felix. For a moment, I was relieved that it was him and not a certain someone, but the look he gave me told me he wasn't happy with me.
"Are you out of your fucking mind? Why would you stab Alpha Derrick? Do you know how serious that case is? You could be hanged for it… that was attempted murder."
I clenched my fists, trying to stay calm. Felix's voice was low, but the fury in it was unmistakable.
"He deserved it," I muttered, my jaw tight. "He destroyed me…"
"You stabbed the Alpha, Nathan!" Felix snapped, stepping closer to the cell bars. "Do you even realize what that means? That's not just some bar fight. That's treason. You don't just walk away from that."
I exhaled sharply and looked away, the memory flashing in my mind like fire—Alpha Derrick did not even show any sign of pain, so I knew he should be fine.
