Mia had hoped that her words would be enough to shake the man away from her and would send him on his way, but it seemed like the man was intent on clinging to her.
"I think that will be a bit rude," said Mia with a smile that didn't reach her eyes. "That person is my family member, and I believe it's not right for me to bring Mr Patrick with me while meeting with someone whom you don't know. I think I will see you some other time, Mr Patrick."
Before Mr Patrick could say something more, she turned around on her feet and headed inside. Mr Patrick liked to play the role of a gentleman, which meant that he wouldn't possibly harass her in public.
Mr Patrick watched the woman leave and raised his foot to kick the altar next to him. He was annoyed and frustrated by the actions of the woman who had wrapped him around her little finger. However, a few seconds later, he calmed down and brushed the locks of hair that were hanging on his forehead.
