Henry didn't know what was going on with him. Usually, he would tell the truth to Jamie right away, but after getting a glimpse of his past, Henry couldn't help but restrain himself.
Naturally, Jamie noticed the difference in his attitude. Her eyes turned cold, but she didn't show her emotions on her face. Instead, she curled her lips and smiled at Henry before saying to him, "Is that so? That's too bad. For a second, I thought that you must have remembered our past. It's just too bad that only I remember our good memories."
"Forgive me," Henry said with a hint of a forced smile on his lips. "I think I overworked myself regarding Madam Harley's project. It must be for this reason that I ended up falling unconscious." He gave a reasonable explanation for his sudden illness.
