"Aunty Sandy, where is Mommy?" Cyrus asked, his hazel-green eyes wide open.
Sandy looked up at him from the fruit salad she was making, a small smile on her lips. "Oh my baby mummy is on her way,okay?" she said.
"Okay," Cyrus said looking down ,his face now clouded by a sad frown.
"Here's the deal," she said bending down to meet with his height " why don't you go play with your toys, and i will call you once I'm done with this, okay?" She picked up a slice of apple from the bowl, as she handed it to him making the little boy's sad face immediately turn into a wide smile.
"Thank you, Aunty Sandy!" Cyrus said munching on the apple slice before running upstairs back to his room.
Sandy sighed relief washing of her that he had not pushed the question to hard today, as she turned her attention back to the fruit salad she was making.
Few minutes ago,she had gotten a text from Selene telling her that she was in a cab and on her way home. So she should be here any moment from now.
