Chapter 54
Ark looks at him and knows what he thinks;
"Are you thinking how am i able to hold Nothingness so easily in my hands? How does the sword that not even the 'Old One' managed to hold it without injury, stays like a lamb in my hand?"
"Well let me ask you something, how does Nothing manage to hurt 'Nothing'?"
Ark then looks down in Serak eyes and smiles. Serak not knowing how to answer, even more for him to use now his brain to think is a herculean task, his mind being filled only by pain.
So Ark doesn't let him hurt his brain more than necessary, he says;
"It's easy really, from the first time i worked on this sword, it didn't manage to hurt me. You only need to handle it with a 'Nothingness Aura' on your hands, then Nothing, can't hurt Nothing. Of course if you can't make this aura, then you don't stand a chance to touch it, but me being me... i can do that easily with my magic. Hehe."
Serak just looks at Ark like a monkey looks in the mirror and doesn't really understand what is happening. Who is that that looks back at it?
Ark sees Serak's confusion, and says further;
"I know that right now is hard to think with all the pain that took over your mind, but in more easier terms to understand, i can mimic the swords aura perfectly, and that lets me touch it."
"And it seems you don't have really that much time between the living, so i will ask you something. Do you still want your revenge? I can give it to you, i also want to go to the Celestials home. I also have 'Unresolved Problems' with them."
Serak looks into Ark's eyes and sees only a calm gaze, that says, 'even if the world comes crumbling down, i will held it together.'
So he knows that his only chance is 'The One' in front of him, so he says with a trembling voice, that takes his entire reserve of energy;
"I will follow 'The One'."
Ark smiles and points the tip of 'Nothingness' towards his forehead, Serak panics for a moment, but then he thinks, 'if he would want me dead, i would be long dead already.'
Then he sees a green energy gathering at the tip of the sword, and that energy pierces his forehead like a nail, but it doesn't hurt, on the contrary he feels how that energy heals him, he feels how his body is brought back from the land of the dead, he feels how his cells are gathering life force again, he starts to feel, life coming back to him.
Then in a few seconds his body is again at full power, and completely healed, he stands up and raises both of his hands in front of him, he feels perfectly normal, in fact more than perfect.
He feels that his energy reserves are even greater than before and his spirit is stronger now, after almost crossing on the other side.
He raises his head towards Ark and says;
"Thank you, and i will follow you until i have my revenge against the Celestials."
Ark nods and turns towards the void, there a new wave of enemies awaits, some for a moment hesitate, they saw the fight between them, and they know, there is no chance for them to win. But some don't think, they just dive right back to fight.
But then a fire breath hits them, before they manage to reach the planet, most of them just turn to ash, some manage to turn back in time, keeping their lives, but not without injuries, and before they manage to wrap their heads around about what is happening, they are cut in the middle by a thin red line that stretches for a few miles, and everything the line touches, cuts everything even to the smallest atoms like butter. In a few moments the space clears for miles, the aliens and the ones from other Dimensions think, 'Are these really fighters from lower Dimensions? They look more powerful than us, and we are from the middle Dimensions.'
They see a black like night Dragon, and a man landing next to Ark. Then the dragon turns into a middle-aged man, and they start talking with Ark, for a moment everyone hesitates now, even alone Ark is more powerful then most of them, now that he has help, they really don't stand a chance anymore.
Immediately how he lands Zmaug asks Ark;
"Who is the little boy behind you?"
But Kyle intervenes and says:
"We have more important things to do now, we need to know how are we going about the millions of enemies? What is our plan?"
Zmaug turns towards Kyle and looks at him with a questioning face.
"What do you mean 'Plan'? We only need to kill until no one stands before us, that easy."
Ark looks at them and says;
"Yeah, that is also my plan. And this is Serak Kaelthar, he also has beef with the Celestials, so he will fight with us."
Kyle and Zmaug both nod and introduce themselves;
"I am Kyle Storm, the Ruler of the Third Empire, and your Senpai."
Zmaug wants immediately to also introduce himself, but when he hears Kyle saying Senpai, he blocks for a moment thinking...'Whaat?', then is he higher than me? How does that work, where am i ranked then?'
A few seconds pass and Zmaug still overthinks, but Ark raises his eyebrow while saying;
"This is Zmaug Drakon, the 'Old Man' who sometimes forgets to even speak."
Zmaug blocks again for a few seconds, before the ground and the air around him starts to heat up, all the cool names he prepared for himself, he can throw them in the trash now. What is worse, he hears how Kyle starts to laugh at him, and that makes him to lose it, so he just roars towards the sky and his aura reaches new heights, then he takes flight and goes towards the enemies. He transforms again in his Dragon form and fires dragon breaths all over, that makes the destruction reach new levels, the weak aliens and even the beings from the middle Dimensions, are killed with the thousands. Then Zmaug stops the breaths and flies in their middle, then he takes his humanoid dragon form, and takes his spear out. A new killing spree starts, a few tries to fight him, but Zmaug just destroies them in a few moves, so most of them do the only thing they can, they start running with all they got, some are thinking, 'If i can't hurt them, them i will go to their planet and wreak havoc there, i will hurt their people.'
So most of them give up on capturing Ark, and go to attack the Earth. With is an even worse idea, because Melody awaits there.
Ark, Kyle and Serak just look at the rampaging Dragon, that he alone pushed back the line of enemies, making most of them to flee, but then Serak says;
"Should we let them leave? Because they will go to your home planet."
"Kyle says without turning his head;
"You don't have to worry, because the strongest of us is there, Ark's little sister watches over Earth, even if all of them go to attack the Earth, they will only become fuel for her weapon."
When Serak hears who is protecting the Earth, he just nods, not worrying anymore. But then he hears Kyle again,
"And i know is off topic right now, but you just got here, no? How can you speak in our Uniakea language so good and so easy?"
Serak answers calmly;
"Don't underestimate a Swordsman Soul Level, i used my soul to see what all is about here in the Third Dimension, i looked in the Soul of the weaker aliens how you call them here and saw your people and learned your language in but a few moments. That's why i didn't hurry when i reached the Third Dimension, i was learning."
Kyle nods and doesn't say anything anymore, but in his head thinks, 'I really need to learn some 'Soul Arts', or to level up my soul even more, because i will need these abilities if i am to follow Ark to the next Dimensions.'
Then they hear Ark's voice;
"We have to go or else Zmaug will kill them all, he will have all the fun, let's go and make some 'Shish Kebab' from them."
The other nod and they take flight, when they reach the front lines, they unleash a new wave of destruction that makes the ones that stayed, curse their wretched fate, why didn't they leave, why did they come here where only the strong have a chance of survival, their only thoughts before dying are filled with regret.
But in the middle of killing, all four of them feel something extremely wrong from the Darkness of space. A darkness that exceeds the limits of what this Universe can hold, a Darkness so extreme that can make the weak willed, take their life by only looking at it.
A Darkness that makes the very fabric of space tremble, then in the distance they see a pair of eyes that looks exactly like snake eyes, but so big that it looks like Suns, that means that his body is the size of Galaxies.
