Under Tsunade's relentless cursing, Uchiha Shin leisurely made his way back to the Uchiha compound.
Along the way, the Uchiha clan members who saw him nearly dropped to their knees in reverence.
"Patriarch!"
"Hokage!"
Each and every one of them greeted him with unwavering enthusiasm, addressing him as either the clan leader or Hokage. No one dared to show even the slightest neglect.
The moment he stepped into his residence, Kanako, dressed in a crisp maid outfit, came running up to him.
"Young Master—no, I suppose I should call you Hokage now. You're back."
Ever since she had bonded with Mikoto, Kanako's demeanor had shifted—her every action now resembling that of a devoted wife.
"Just call me Young Master. The title of Hokage never sat well with me."
Uchiha Shin raised his hand and pinched Kanako's fair, rosy cheek.
Her skin had improved significantly since he started 'nurturing' her—not just smoother, but far more sensitive to his touch.
Even a gentle pinch made Kanako tremble instinctively.
"Young Master~" she murmured, her tone carrying a sultry whimper. "Lately, I've been feeling hungry again~"
"You mean you need to replenish your chakra again?" Shin chuckled. "You're getting dependent on it."
Despite the mark of the Sage Seal, Kanako could only absorb a minimal amount of natural energy. The energy he transferred to her, however, was rich and nourishing.
Because of this, every time she got close to him, her body instinctively fell into a state of chakra depletion—a kind of 'cellular hunger.'
Shin smirked. If he continued training her at this rate, she might very well master Sage Mode.
"Well," he mused, tilting her chin up. "That depends on how well you've learned what I've been teaching you."
Kanako's eyes sparkled with excitement, her expression turning impatient.
Seeing her eagerness, Shin raised an eyebrow. "And where's Mikoto? Why are you acting so brazenly?"
"Umm… Sister Mikoto went to visit Kushina. She and Konan went to see Mito-sama."
Shin's expression shifted into thoughtfulness as he processed her words.
With his rise to power, the Senju clan had begun to rebuild. The former members who had blended into Konoha were slowly returning. Mikoto, as his representative, often liaised with Uzumaki Mito.
"The matter of the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki needs to change as well," he muttered. "I should just drain the Kyūbi dry. As for Kushina… she'll be trained alongside Konan."
He turned his gaze back to Kanako.
"How's your little 'playtime' with Kushina going?"
Kanako let out a soft sigh. "Young Master, you're so cruel."
She understood exactly what Shin was getting at—his interest in adding Kushina to his collection.
Still, as someone who had already given herself to him in body and mind, she offered no resistance.
"Lately… I've been planting the seeds in her mind. I think she's beginning to feel the same way I do."
A knowing smile spread across Shin's lips. "Good girl."
He gently stroked Kanako's head. "For that, you've earned yourself a reward."
After 'claiming' her reward, Kanako cheerfully headed to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
Shin, on the other hand, had other plans before eating.
"My precious Eternal Mangekyō… let's see how far you've come."
With an almost gleeful stride, he made his way to the underground prison.
At the farthest end of the dimly lit dungeon, Uchiha Fugaku was shackled within a cold, steel cell.
His limbs—once mangled and bloody—had transformed into hardened stone.
Over the past few days, Shin had ensured Fugaku received 'proper care'—sustenance just enough to keep him alive. After all, starving him to death would be too merciful.
More importantly, Fugaku had played a crucial role in Shin's latest experiment.
Those same eyes—Fugaku's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan—were now forcibly implanted back into his sockets, all thanks to Shin's handiwork.
And now, locked in a silent battle of will, Fugaku's gaze burned with unyielding hatred as he stared at his captor.
"Don't look at me like that," Shin taunted. "You should be thanking me. That new pair of Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan suits you well."
Fugaku didn't speak, but the sheer intensity of his glare said everything.
Shin sighed theatrically and listed the series of intricate seals he had placed on him.
"Curse Mark: Binding Seal… Jinchūriki Suppression… Chakra Severance Seal… and yet, you managed to break through them all. Very impressive."
However, there was one thing Fugaku couldn't overcome.
"Too bad for you, the Sage Curse Mark isn't something that can be removed so easily."
It was a seal that forcibly absorbed and converted natural energy. For those without proper Sage training, the results were… unpleasant.
If one struggled against it, the rogue natural energy would overwhelm their body, petrifying them from the inside out.
And Fugaku had learned that the hard way.
Shin stepped into the cell, knocking on the hardened stone of Fugaku's limbs.
"You figured it out too late," he mused. "You must have realized what was happening and stopped resisting… otherwise, you'd be a full statue by now."
"I'LL KILL YOU!!!"
Fugaku's voice erupted with sheer rage, his emotions finally boiling over.
Hatred, despair, and bloodlust—all of it condensed into a single, powerful surge of chakra.
In an instant, his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan activated, summoning the skeletal frame of Susanoo around him.
Fugaku had been waiting for this moment. Even if it cost him everything—even if it meant turning to stone—he would drag Shin down with him.
Shin, however, merely scoffed.
"Have you lost your mind in here?" he sneered. "Even with an Eternal Mangekyō, you still think you're a match for me?"
Before Fugaku could fully manifest his Susanoo, Shin vanished.
A fraction of a second later—a thunderous impact.
Shin's fist crashed through the ribcage of Susanoo, shattering it instantly.
Fugaku barely had time to register the attack before Shin's fist tore through his chest, splitting his torso clean in half.
Blood splattered across the cold stone floor as the last flicker of resistance left Fugaku's eyes.
As his body collapsed, the petrification finally consumed what remained of him, leaving only a broken husk of stone in his wake.
Shin exhaled, flexing his fingers.
"Pathetic," he muttered, stepping over the remnants of his fallen kin.
With one final glance at the lifeless body of Uchiha Fugaku, Uchiha Shin turned and walked away, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips.
After all, there were far greater things ahead.
And soon, the entire world would know the name Uchiha Shin.
