"Easton Holmes! You really..."
Lily Turner raised her hand to strike Easton Holmes, but as soon as she lifted it, he grabbed it.
She struggled to pull her hand back, but he held on tightly, and after several attempts, she still couldn't succeed. "Let me go!"
Despite the limited light around them, she glared at him defiantly.
"Honey! Can you hit me upstairs? I don't want people to laugh at us."
Just as Easton finished speaking, Mrs. Gui emerged from the corner, seemingly cooperating with him, her timing impeccable.
The moment Mrs. Gui appeared, it suddenly dawned on Lily that Easton had been speaking to Mrs. Gui.
She had thought he was talking to her, and this misunderstanding was truly exasperating.
"Honey! Let's go! Let's go back to our room and sleep."
While Lily was still in shock, Easton reached out, grabbed her, and started to lead her towards the stairs.
But after only a few steps, Lily stopped, forcing Easton to halt. He turned back with confusion, "What's wrong?"
