Lily Turner went downstairs to get some water and hadn't come back up for a long time. Easton Holmes was getting a little uneasy, casually tossed the remote onto the sofa, and got up to leave the room.
Except for a few wall lights, the other lights on the first floor were off.
As Easton Holmes walked down the stairs, he didn't turn on the main light. He made his way to the living room by the dim wall lights.
He thought Lily Turner would be in the living room, but when he didn't see her there, he immediately frowned.
Where did she go? Could she have run out in anger?
Images of Lily Turner sneaking out flashed through Easton's mind, but he didn't rush out to look for her, choosing to calm himself down first.
Once composed, he left the living room and headed towards the kitchen. As he passed the dining room door, he suddenly saw someone sitting inside, and his steps halted abruptly.
