Sienna's POV
Everything was falling apart, and somehow, I was the only one who could fix it.
I stood at the middle of the battlefield, power flowing through me like fire in my veins. On my right was Zeke, my twin brother, our purple flame still joining us. On my left was Ronan, my Phantom Wolf, his shadow energy whirling around him. And ahead of us was Kieran, standing alone against the First Beings as their huge forms broke through the barrier.
But it was the figure floating above the chaos that held my attention.
Amarantha. The Shadow Alpha. Once a Ruby Wolf like me.
"Sienna!" Ronan yelled. "We need to seal the breach now!"
I shook my head. "No. Not yet."
I could feel it in my bones—this wasn't just about closing a door. This was about facing my image, my possible future.
"I need to face her," I said. "Alone."
Zeke grabbed my arm. "Are you crazy? She'll kill you!"
"She can't," I answered, suddenly sure of it. "We're the same."
