Sienna's POV
The moment Zeke's last breath left his body, his strength slammed into me like a tsunami wave. Fire burst from my skin, ruby flames dancing across the cabin walls.
"Sienna!" Ronan yelled, his voice faraway through the roar in my ears.
I couldn't answer. My brother's memories flooded my mind his pain, his training, his commitment to me even when he didn't understand it. And with his memories came more of my own, breaking through the Queen's magic like glass shattering.
Kieran stood frozen in the doorway, his eyes locked on mine. The curse-marks on his skin pulsed black, fighting against his will. Behind him, I could see his pack forming a defensive line against Darius's coming troops.
"Kill her," a woman's voice hissed. The Midnight Queen. My mom. "Kill her now, Alpha!"
Kieran's body shook with the effort of refusing. "Sienna," he growled, each word a battle. "Run."
But I was done running.
