Haruto looked toward the entrance. "He died right over there."
Orochimaru's breath hitched. The killing intent he'd just sensed wasn't imagined—it was overwhelming.
He lowered his eyes, retracting his greedy gaze.
He had clearly felt a monstrous force pressing down on him like a tailed beast ready to crush him at any moment.
And he knew who the "last guy" was—none other than Shimura Danzo.
Kabuto's report was accurate. This shop's owner was an enigma—far more dangerous than he appeared.
"No, he's stronger than a Kage!" Orochimaru thought to himself.
Even facing the Nine-Tails, he had never felt such dread.
"Hehe!" Orochimaru giggled seductively, flicking his long sleeves. "You're so mean!"
"I only wanted to admire your lovely eggs. You scared me!"
"Shut the hell up!" Haruto nearly lost it and shouted, "Orochimaru!"
"You're one of the legendary Three Sannin! Could you stop being so damn disgusting?!"
"Don't play these ridiculous tricks on me!" Haruto snapped as he brushed away the goosebumps from his arms.
