"Strike true against the bodies of gel!" Saki yells loudly, swinging her sword wide against the giant bug, but it flies up high, preventing her strike hit. Saki watched the giant bug with disbelief. "Hey! Get back down here!" She yelled, her grip on her sword shaking in anger. "Focus, Saki! Don't let it get on your nerves!" Abigail briefly yells behind her.
"Sever the life of many in twain..." She swings wide at the bugs, slaying many of them. "An ethereal sword hacks the souls of the sentient" Shizuku on the other side maintains her use of her skills to eliminate a good amount of bugs on her side. Saki would hear them cast their skills on either side as she focuses on the giant bug.
Once it landed, Saki attempted to strike again. "Strike true against the bodies of gel!" Her strikes missed as the giant bug flew up again. "Damn it! It's being cautious now!" She yells as she helplessly watches the giant bug in the air. Abigail briefly looks up to the sky to see the giant bug then turns to Saki. "Be patient, it's not gonna fly for long" Saki nods at her and maintains her gaze at the hovering bug.
'Crushing Press' The battle interface displays. Saki's eyes went wide and instinctively jumped to the side, and narrowly evaded the massive body of the bug. She quickly stood up with a grunt and readied her sword. "Strike true against-!" Her yell halts mid-sentence as the battle interface displays 'Crushing Limb' Her body immediately reacts by hopping away from her spot and evading the giant bug's limb aiming to crush her.
"That was close!" Saki let out a long exhale. Suddenly, two bugs got past Abigail. "Ah! Saki! Watch out!" She yells, glancing over her shoulder while maintaining guard against many more bugs. Saki puts her sword to her right in a hurry and executes her skill. "Cleave the enemies apart!" 'Bug B takes 16 damage!' 'Bug A takes 16 damage!' The two bugs were still alive and standing between their leader and Saki.
"You gotta teach me how to one-hit them, Abby!" Saki yells between her breaths. "Getting tired yet? We're almost there!" Abigail ignores her to tease her. Suddenly, Bug A lunges forward, aiming to bite into Saki's arm, but she was able to react faster and steps to the side with quick footing, then swings her sword up high, killing the bug in the air. 'Bug A has been defeated!' Its lifeless body hits a building just behind them.
Bug B also lunges forward, and Saki does the same and kills it in the air. 'Bug B has been defeated!' Its lifeless body hits the building as well before falling to the ground motionless. When Saki turned her gaze ahead, she saw Abigail watching her. "You've gotten faster in such a short time, I could hardly believe it" She said with a proud smile before turning to the bugs.
Saki felt an intense heat in her cheeks and shook her head, focusing on the giant bug. Just as the battle was about to continue, Shizuku grunts loudly and stumbles back. A strike from the bug caused her to lose balance and many bugs got past her and blocked Saki from striking their leader.
"Chief! We can't keep the bugs overrunning Saki!" Abigail yells at Shizuku. "I know! But there are too many!" She yells back. Abigail lets out a troubled sigh and yells at Saki. "Saki! I'm coming, watch out!" She propelled herself with her wind powers towards Saki, who was surprised to see her fly from her spot. "Let me deal with these pests first, then get back on that giant one" She said with a small smirk on her face. Then she walks forward and readies her sword in front of her. Saki then reads on the battle interface with widened eyes 'Gale's Blink' then looks to Abigail.
"With collected spirit comes with a definite volley of strikes!" As soon as she finishes her sentence, a powerful blow of wind hits Saki, causing her to shut her eyes and move her head away as she stumbles back. When the wind died down, she saw the bugs dead on the ground standing between them and the giant bug a moment ago. She looked around to see Abigail looking at her. "You alright? Go on and finish this!" She then propels herself back to her spot, slaying some bugs that were around it.
Saki couldn't register what happened to the dead bugs but it was no time to question anything. She readied her sword and executed her skill. "Strike true against the bodies of gel!" However, her balance was whacked as the giant bug stomped and shook the ground. "Gah! It's being stubborn!" She yells her complaint. She made a quick check to the two, who were busy fending off the bugs and preventing them from reaching her. Their skill casting is repeated all over as more bugs die under their swords.
The giant bug then raised its limb in the air. 'Crushing Limbs' The battle interface displays, it quickly launches its limb down at Saki, but she jumps away just in time and avoids being crushed. Just as she takes her breath from her continuous evading, the giant bug raises both its limbs in frustration. 'Crushing Limbs' The battle interface displays once more, causing Saki to jump behind. The giant bug let out an angered cry as it missed.
"Slash true against the bodies of gel!" She yells and executes her skill, but her sword hits the air again as the giant bugs fly up. "Stay back down here, coward!" She yelled above the air. As it remains hovering, Saki quickly checks its stats. '29/100 hp' She grunted at the remaining health of the giant bug. "Just two more strikes and you're done!" She muttered angrily and returned her gaze above.
To her surprise, the giant bug lands without attacking her. 'Crushing Limbs' It raised one of its limbs instead in preparation to attack. "Getting tired of throwing yourself on the ground?" Saki muttered under her breath. The limb then went down on Saki, and she quickly jumped away. "You're not gonna get away now! Slash true against the bodies of gel!" Once she landed, she immediately followed up with a skill. But just like last time, the giant bug flew away and hovered above.
"How is this thing so big and fast at the same time?!" She yells in disbelief when she swings her sword in the air, missing the giant bug. She then saw Shizuku look back over her shoulder towards her. Her firm concern was evident in her silent gaze before returning to the bugs on her side. 'Crushing Limbs' The battle interface displays as the giant bug raises one of its limbs above. Saki maintains her gaze on the limb as she thinks of something and jumps away as it comes down.
"Hyah...!" Once the limb crashes down, she swiftly slashes it, finally harming the bug. 'Beetle Leader takes 12 damage!' The giant bug let out a withering cry as Saki sent it to a critical stage. Abigail darts around her with an excited smile. "Good work, Saki! More and this will all be over!" Her encouragement fills Saki with the courage to defeat the bug, motivating her more in the battle.
The giant bug begins to stomp wildly at the ground, shaking everyone around. It let out a deafening cry as it continued to stomp and shake everything. "Strike true against the bodies of gel!" Saki took the initiative and executed her skill, but the giant bug was quick to react and dashed backward, screeching against her. Saki could feel the anger from it.
"Come on, then! If you're angry, then come at me!" She yelled back against its screech. As if feeling her taunt, the giant bug let out a mean screech to her. 'Attack' The battle interface displays which Saki ignored as she maintained her gaze at the charging bug. "Haaah....!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs as she charged forward as well. Abigail darts around with a widened gaze. "Saki!" She extends her arm towards Saki, but before she can send a wind to stop them, the two meet up in a clash. Abigail watched in anticipation to find out the outcome.
