Kurama looked at himself in the vision. In truth, he had already guessed what he might see, but still felt a bit embarrassed.
As expected, he saw the scene that made his aunt laugh. He had stayed inside Naruto's body—not because of the so-called coordination between the tailed beasts, but simply because he didn't want to be separated from Naruto.
In reality, Kurama saw this and exclaimed, "What!!"

Then came the bizarre scene—Naruto created multiple Shadow Clones, and together they overwhelmed Hinata, leaving her panting for breath.
Hinata refused to admit defeat and responded with her Kaiten (Rotation)!
Kurama stared, puzzled. As a Tailed Beast, he didn't understand why they were fighting so fiercely when they clearly had such a good relationship. Hinata kept shouting at Naruto's attacks.
Outside, Naruto felt a wave of awkwardness. He rushed forward.
The next second, Kurama, who had been about to complain, saw a little girl with Byakugan approach. With a single finger, she knocked both Naruto and Kurama flying!
"Ouch, that hurt just watching," Kurama winced from outside the scene.
The vision changed once more. Naruto and Kurama were fighting side by side against an Ōtsutsuki. Kurama activated his Baryon Mode and sacrificed himself for Naruto.
And then—nothing.
With a sharp gasp, the Rinnegan in Kurama's eyes faded, and he panted, trying to process everything he had just seen.
Naruto floated quietly in front of him, looked him in the eye, and asked, "So, what do you think?"
Kurama raised his head and stared at Naruto, confusion written all over his face. "I died for you?"
Naruto nodded seriously.
"And I actually become friends with you? Cooperate with you?"
Naruto nodded again.
Kurama roared, "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
With that, he backed away from Naruto and shouted, "This is definitely Genjutsu!"
Naruto followed him and said, "You actually believe it yourself—so why are you trying to deceive yourself? Besides, if it were Genjutsu, you'd be able to tell!
The Rinnegan can control Tailed Beasts, but it can't control our will!
When I traveled back in time, did you feel like you were being controlled?"
Kurama trembled and stopped retreating.
Seeing this, Naruto continued, "Old man, let's join forces again. We lost in the last life—we can't afford to lose again in this one. Otherwise, all the efforts of the Sage of Six Paths will be for nothing."
When Naruto mentioned the Sage of Six Paths, and thinking back to how that old man looked at him in the vision, Kurama let out a long sigh and said, "Fine."
Naruto grinned, jumped toward Kurama, and said, "Damn, old man, you're really stubborn."
Kurama exploded, "What are you doing? I just agreed! Why are you getting so chummy all of a sudden?!"
Naruto waved him off with a smile. "Alright, alright. I'll give you your space."
Then, Naruto floated down from Kurama, opened his shirt with his left hand, and with the key to the Eight Trigrams Seal in his right hand, pressed it to his stomach. He turned it all the way—click!—the lock disengaged, and Naruto pushed the gate open!
Kurama stood up. "What are you doing? Can you keep your distance?! Close the damn door, close it!"
Naruto looked confused. "Didn't you always hate this sealed gate?"
Kurama frowned. "I changed my preferences, alright? I like it now!"
As he said that, Kurama stormed over and yanked the massive iron door shut himself. He then chased after Naruto, grumbling, "Let's go, get out of here already. I gave you a crap-ton of chakra, now get moving."
Naruto chuckled. He let Kurama shut the door, not locking it himself, but he didn't argue. The seal had been opened, and now his chakra communication with Kurama was completely unhindered.
Naruto glanced back at Kurama, shook his head in amusement, and exited the sealed space.
Back in the bedroom, Naruto woke up, stretched, and made his way straight to Orochimaru's lab.
"Uncle Snake! Busy?"
Orochimaru, noticing Naruto's confident steps, replied, "What should I say…? What are you planning now?"
The corners of Naruto's mouth lifted slightly as he looked at Orochimaru. "How do you always know what I'm thinking whenever I come to you?"
Orochimaru gave a sly smile. "Whenever you've made up your mind, your footsteps become unusually steady."
Naruto gave a thumbs up. "Uncle Snake, you're sharp as ever! That's right—I came to ask if I can take Itachi from Kabuto and sneak him out."
Orochimaru raised an eyebrow. "So you're finally making a move on Itachi?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah. It's a big move."
Orochimaru thought for a moment. "If Kabuto has gone out of his way to hide him, even I might not be able to find him. After all, it's Edo Tensei."
Naruto scratched his head. "What about just taking him by force?"
Orochimaru smirked. "If you could've taken him by force, you wouldn't be standing here asking me."
Naruto chuckled awkwardly. True enough.
He had deliberately allowed Kabuto to exist. Otherwise, with his current strength, Kabuto would've been eliminated long ago. But Kabuto was also an ally—part of Naruto's grand plan.
So the only option left was to mobilize the Allied Shinobi Forces, get close enough to pressure Kabuto into releasing the Edo Tensei in response to the threat.
Thinking about it, Naruto looked at Orochimaru and asked, "Uncle Snake, can I ask you something? Could you tell me about your Immortality Technique?"
Orochimaru narrowed his eyes at Naruto, a wicked smile forming on his lips. "You're up to no good, kid."
