Chapter 36 - Run It Back

It was the day. Today was the day of the comeback. A comeback was what Lautaro was planning anyway. He wasn't that sore, but he could not say the same about Salvey. He got a stern talking from his mother after Salvey's dad told him they were fighting in the basement.

Neither of them could tell the reason why Salvey had a black eye because highschoolers are not supposed to be in gangs. They also definitely aren't supposed to be training for major gang fights. But Salvey was not too injured in fact he seemed happy that Lautaro was beating him over and over again.

It showed improvement, growth and the determination to beat Macell. Each time he won, each time victory so much as graced him with its presence he felt more and more confident. Confidence in himself, confidence in his abilities. Because his true dream was grander than anyone else's.

His determination alone would probably be more than anyone on this planet. Because his determination reached to the stars and then some. Lautaro never planned but when he did he made sure it happened.

He arrived to the school with a marvellously crafted outfit. He donned a plain gray hoodie, his inner shirt was a loose white shirt. He wore black baggy pants, this time in an attempt to fool Macell by having him miscalculate the range of Lautaro and therfore lead to some results of Lautaro's victory.

He had classic basketball shoes and he even styled his hair. His used his mom's hair curler and made his hair less packed together. His wonderful brown hair looked amazing. He had two curls infront of his forehead, one of which looked like gold because of the yellow streak of dye in his hair and also due to the blessing of the sun shining down upon him.

He positioned himself perfectly as to barely shade himself from the sun, but let the sunlight shine just enough to make him look fabulous. He came early and waited for Macell to arrive and during this time he thought about what he had done over the past 3 days.

Lautaro had became a self proclaimed Taekwondo master. He was even more flexible than before, he could do things he thought nigh impossible.

His kicks could displace trees, the police still could not find the person responsible for the mass destruction of the trees in the park. Even his punches were stronger, he could leave indents in the ground and could punch punching bags off their hinges.

Punches were ineffective against Lautaro as his durability had almost doubled. Even relentless dempsey rolls from Salvey took some time to deal damage. One could he was invincible.

Whilst waiting he took a packet of gum and coin flipped 2 pieces in his mouth. He blew a bubble as fast he could because he liked the sound it made when it popped. He waited and waited and then he finally came. Lautaro said.

"You're terribly late."

"You're awfully early."

They instantly clashed the second they saw each other. A tell-tale sign of rivalry.

"So how are we going to settle this?"

Lautaro asked.

"I'll have one of my guys countdown."

"Do you always wear the same thing every day."

Macell tried to say something smart to comeback but Lautaro interrupted.

"Where are your guys? Hiding because their knock off mafia boss is gonna lose?"

"Are you gonna keep asking ridiculous questions or are we gonna run it back?"

Lautaro could quietly hear Macell say.

"Of course I wear this coat everyday, it's sick."

Lautaro chuckled silently.

One of Macell many fake mafia members came from behind the corner. With a whistle in hand he began the countdown. Whilst the random counted down Lautaro scanned his surroundings and saw Salvey hiding in a bush and Lautaro wondered why Salvey didn't hide the last he fought Macell.

Macell took his coat off mid countdown and let go of it, letting it flow in the wind. Lautaro gave him a sarcastic look. Once the countdown went down to the final number carnage came.

They both charged at each in such a frenzy that would think that they hated each other and to some extent they did. Macell went for quick jabs but Lautaro evaded them all in the most stylish way possible.

On of Lautaro's stylish dodges Macell grabbed the rope used to tighten the hoodie and pulled. Lautaro came flying at Macell and Macell slammed his fist into Lautaro's face.

Lautaro stood there with a smirk on his face along with a fist.

"Now was that supposed to do something? Oh now that was tuff."

Macell shrugged his shoulders in a half agreeing manner and went for a punch to Lautaro's temple. But before the pumch could connect he was kicked in the stomach.

"So you got faster. Interesting."

Lautaro smirked and went performed an onslaught of kicks. He walked up to Macell and kicked him straight in his chin. Then he used his left foot to kick the side of his head but it was caught by Macell and Lautaro spun to get out of his grip.

They both backed away for a miniscule second then they both continued the disaster they brought.

Lautaro started to go the offensive utilising his combination of Capoeira and Taekwondo to fight Macell. He swept Macell, making him fall over whilst Macell plummeted to the ground Lautaro took the initiative.

Using both legs he made a sort of spear and proppeld himself off the ground using his hands and his spear went straight into Macell stomach. Macell looked indifferent and said.

"Now was that supposed to do something?"

Lautaro improvised and kicked Macell in his chin then moved backwards to gain space.

"Ahh I hate it when I do something tuff and then you just do something else tuffer."

Macell chuckled as he charged at Lautaro.

He was faster this time. The way he approached and how he swiftly rolled towards him. He had perfected the dempsey roll. He dodged faster and faster, Lautaro did not know what to do.

If Lautaro let Macell come close he would get annihilated. If just backed away he would be forced into a corner and if he attacked Macell head, he dodge it and, worse, if he aimed for the body he would catch it he was forced in a stalemate.

But the thing was Lautaro didn't like being forced into doing something he didn't want to do. He swept at Macell's feet and he anticipated and shifted into a wider base, spreading his legs, but that was all according to his chaotic conception.

Macell was about 6 foot and 3 inches. Lautaro was about 5 and 10 inches in this body. That meant that Macell's legs were tall, tall for someone like him. He feinted the sweep and turned it into a dash, dashing underneath Macell's legs.

He then went for a scissor kick and just as expected Macell went for a block but again it was a feint. Lautaro then proppeld himself with his feet, uppercutting Macell. The uppercut broke Macell's guard. Letting Lautaro land two devastating kicks to his chin back to back.

It seemed like the kicks worked and knocked Macell back and he seemed dizzy. He spat out blood then charged. It was faster than before, he was getting angry. The punch landed because Lautaro was too slow. Then another and one more then one more became two more then Lautaro finally realised what was happening and countered.

After the punch was swung he grabbed his hands and flipped Macell; making Macell think the clouds were below him. Macell tried to counter by punching him mid-air but Lautaro grabbed the punch and for second Macell could see Lautaro not smiling. Lautaro straightened out his arm, he then used his elbow and his hand to flip, sending Macell flying to the ground again. Whilst Macell was about to meet the earth he delivered a fury of kick to his arms, legs and spine.

Lautaro backed off, an effort to conserve energy. Macell rose from the ground like a zombie. He then spoke, his breath heavy.

"You could've broken my arm when you grabbed me there. Why didn't you?"

"I'll need that dempsey roll of yours when you join my crew."

"Huh. Your an interesting one the most interesting I've ever seen and I've seen alot."

"Thanks."

Macell quickly followed it up by saying.

"But you used that move again, you know what that means."

"Second phase of the boss battle. I hate it when they do this."

Macell stood silently. Then he looked up at Lautaro, in a terrifying manner. Lautaro expression turned nervous, his eyes turned gray and he felt that same feeling of dread as he did before, but this time he shrugged it off he had to win this time, so no holding back for him this time, whether or not bones were broken Lautaro did not care, he only had one goal.

Victory.

Macell went for a dempsey roll but Lautaro started to parry his punches by performing shoulder rolls. Each punch effortlessly shrugged off, as if it was nothing but Macell didn't like that. He punched faster. Lautaro went for an instinctual dodge. Then he was caught by a hook from Macell and it hurt, it hurt bad.

But Lautaro pushed through it and started boxing. Their quick jabs hit each other, their heavy hooks stopped each other's in their tracks. Lautaro grabbed Macell's hand and tried to flip him over but Macell went for a kick forcing Lautaro to move his head away and let go.

Macell then spun on the ground and left at Lautaro. Lautaro parried the charge with both hands. Macell improvised and turned the charge into a sweep. It worked and Lautaro was tumbling towards the ground, while falling Lautaro went for two kicks, both were caught by Macell.

Macell then grabbed his feet and charged for the wall. This was bad it'd deal too much damage more than Lautaro was capable of taking. The Machine of Perfection was also at it's limit, this fight was already perfect he just had to go beyond perfect.

Lautaro reached over and punched Macell at both sides of his temple. It hurt Macell but it was not enough. When he was close to the wall Lautaro grabbed Macell's head and flung him straight into the wall.

This was it this was the chance. The blessing of victory was near he just had to claim it himself. The one who was above Perfection , chaos incarnate, Lautaro.

He went for fury of kick whilst in the air. But Macell was blocking all of them and they were both at their limit so Lautaro had to give it his all. He raged into the sky and kicked.

"RAHHHHHHH!"

He delivered a heavy right foot right to Macell's hands. But he still kept his guard strong. Then Lautaro kicked a left, the foot scraped the ground and made dust spread. Then Lautaro took advantage, he charged up a heavy right and roared.

"RAHHHHHHH."

The kick was so strong that it left a long crack in the concrete. The kick went against the mighty force of Macell's block but it was stronger it broke through and it struck Macell dead in his chin. The kick gathered dust and once the dust cleared Lautaro had achieved victory.

He smiled but was interrupted by a bunch of roars behind him. There was a massive crowd. Lautaro didn't know how but while fighting Macell a crowd had gathered and now once the dust settled he faced with flashing smiles and cameras.

He didn't even know there were this many students interested in this highschool gang thing. He heard them all chant him name. Apparently he was famous now. He looked in the bush for Salvey and couldn't find him anywhere. But he would talk to him later. For now he enjoyed the chaos of the crowd. And he smiled, he smiled his great Lautaro smile.
