"That guy is that guard, right?"

"I have checked him thoroughly. He is just a little guy in the 8th Stage Qi Refinement Realm. Do you think he can do anything against me? If not, then why didn't you spill everything the moment you met me?" The Devil's Cave sect master asked, as this has puzzled him since yesterday.
"Because he fed me a Gu which will kill me instantly the moment I tell everything to you." Lily said, clutching her chest.
The Devil's Cave sect master raised his eyebrows before checking on her body. After a quick check, his face darkened. "Lily, there isn't any Gu in your body. You were fooled."
Lily's face froze before contorting to extreme anger. "That dog tricked me! I will chop him into pieces and feed them to the dogs in the street. AHHHH!"
"Lily, calm down! Now is not the time to lose our minds. Tell me everything that happened inside the sect ruin."
Lily suppressed her anger and then told everything that she heard and saw inside the sect ruin.
After Lily finished, everyone's eyes turned red thinking about the Emperor-Grade technique that was close to them, but that quickly got extinguished thinking of the disaster they were about to face just because an outsider who has this technique is close to them.
However, they also sighed in relief knowing the technique was not in the hands of someone from the sect. They felt the sharp scythes of the grim reapers leave their necks.
Afterwards, the elders urged Lily anxiously.
"Where is that boy now, miss?"
"Yes, tell us quickly. The fate of the sect lies on that boy."
Lily didn't answer; instead, her father did it for her. "Everyone, don't worry. I had someone watch over him. I have already sent someone to escort him back."
However, he wasn't able to take a breath after finishing talking, and a man in a black cloak appeared beside him. The man said with a quivering voice. "Sect master, the guard watching the boy is dead, and that boy is nowhere to be found."
"What!? How is this possible?" The Devil's Cave sect master stood up from his seat with astonishment.
He has seen Yu Jing's cultivation realm. So, he had assigned a 1st Stage Foundation Establishment realm guard to watch over him. But he never expected the guard to be killed. To be able to kill a 1st Stage Foundation Establishment realm cultivator without making noise, subconsciously he just chalked it up to someone who has a greater cultivation realm being the culprit.
The Devil's Cave sect master was now caught in a dilemma. He was running out of time, and he didn't have Yu Jing captured either.
At that moment, a huge amount of spiritual pressure descended upon the Devil's Cave sect. Those who were below the Golden Core realm slumped onto their knees, using their hands to not let their bodies kiss the ground. However, the Golden Core realm cultivators could not completely offset the pressure. Their hearts tightened, and they began to sweat profusely. Only the Devil's Cave sect master looked somewhat stable. He also protected his daughter.
"Where is the sect master and the elders? Won't you guys come out to greet your guests?" A calm old voice resounded throughout the sect, making everyone in the sect hall leave.
After coming out, they saw four men hovering over their sect. Three of them were old, and one was a middle-aged man.
The old man with a hunchback spoke to the Devil's Cave sect master. "You look like the sect master. Kid, we are from the central region. So if you have any requests, just say it fast. It will take a long time to return home if you waste our time."
The Devil's Cave sect master cursed in his mind, hearing the not-so-subtle threat. However, he had to swallow his anger and act along with them. To be able to come this quickly from the central region just after the immortal's announcement and the pressure was enough to indicate they are not someone he nor his sect could mess up with.
Forcing a smile on his face, he replied. "Sir, forgive us. We know what you are here for. But we have news that you might be interested in before unleashing your might on us."
"Say it." The middle-aged man with a stern face spoke unhurriedly.
"Sir, I'm sorry to say this. Unfortunately, the thing you are here for is not here." Then the Devil's Cave sect master blurted out everything.
After hearing it, the four of them frowned simultaneously. The old man who spoke before looked at Lily, who had her head down, not daring to make eye contact with these four strangers. "If we can see how that boy looks, then it will be very easy to find him."
All of a sudden, the Devil's Cave sect master suddenly appeared before the old man. He couldn't express his shock as the old man grabbed his scalp in the blink of an eye.
"However, I don't want to taint my karma by intentionally killing a mortal." Then followed a series of screams from the Devil's Cave sect master's mouth.
In a short while, the Devil's Cave sect master's lifeless body dropped to the ground. A feared and somewhat famous sect master died just like that.
The old man then conjured up Yu Jing's figure with the help of Spiritual Qi which only people with higher cultivation realms could achieve.
The four of them spread their spiritual senses to search for Yu Jing. However, turning the entire eastern region upside down, they couldn't find him.
All four of them had shock written on their faces after this result.
"How is this possible? How can he escape our spiritual senses?"
"A Qi Refinement Realm cultivator can't possibly leave the eastern region in a single day. Maybe he has an artifact given by his master."
"Highly possible. If it's true, then it will take time to find him. So, what should we do now?"
"Just kill this sect. The immortal should be at least happy seeing a sect affiliated with the devil be erased."
