After brunch, we head back to our room for a little catnap, just a few hours nothing much. My belly is full, warm, and heavy with mana, and honestly, I can barely keep my eyes open. I need time to properly absorb everything from that ridiculously overpowered wyvern egg anyway.
By the time I wake up, the clock on the wall reads 4 p.m.
I stretch with a quiet yawn and blink the sleep from my eyes.
Eris is sitting at the small writing desk near the window, her back to me. She's leaning forward slightly, writing something on a piece of paper. Her brows are drawn in concentration, lips slightly pursed.
The whole room is bathed in that signature Noctis Sanctum glow—that soft, reddish light of eternal dusk that filters through the tall arched windows.
Ahhh…
Noctis Sanctum.
A place where time seems to stand still. Here, dusk never truly ends. There's no sunrise nor sunset, but an endless twillight.
