Urashiki was stunned.
He stared blankly at the giant that stood before him, towering over the world. He watched it stand with its spear, its wings spreading wantonly in the sunlight, a figure like a majestic god of war. For a moment, he felt the illusion of his own insignificance, as small as a mosquito larva.
He immediately became enraged. An inexplicable fire ignited in his heart, causing his face to flush red, unable to control himself.
"What a joke?"
"What a joke! I am an Ōtsutsuki! I am a god!"
Unwilling to be outdone, Urashiki floated up, rising to the same height as Kamihane before roaring in fury.
"You are merely a lower life form! You are not worthy of such chakra!"
He held the red-glowing fishing basket with both hands and swung it forcefully. A ray of light bloomed as he unleashed all the chakra he had previously absorbed.
Rolling sand and stones fell from the sky, merging with the bursting mountain torrent to form a mudslide. Thunder and fire intertwined into a sea that seemed to want to sweep everything away. Even the air trembled!
Kamihane remained unmoved. The Complete Body Susanoo slowly raised its hand. The "Totsuka Blade" rose with a heavy gust of wind, its spearhead plowing into the earth. The massive spear shaft stirred up a storm. After gathering momentum, it swung sharply upward!
"Whoosh!"
The sharp spear tip tore through the air, unleashing a colossal slash. The pitch-black arc, like a crescent moon, carried a magnificent force capable of sundering mountains and splitting the earth. It instantly cleaved the torrent in two, even splitting the clouds!
The slash plowed across the land, and the shockwave created a storm, destroying everything in its path to dust.
Looking at the massive slash, Urashiki even felt like he was being pulled towards it. His Rinnegan immediately switched to a sea-blue color, and his entire body disintegrated into countless paper cranes just as the storm hit.
The black crescent moon swept past. Accompanied by the surging waves, the entire island was cut in half!
Urashiki appeared out of thin air behind the Susanoo's head. The crimson fishing hook transformed into a torrential downpour, shooting towards Kamihane, who was at the center of the Susanoo's brow.
However, Kamihane merely glanced back.
The Complete Body Susanoo did not stop swinging its spear. The previous upward slash was just an appetizer. It flipped its hands, and the spear shaft stirred the winds and clouds, instantly inverting in mid-air, its tip pointing straight at the ground.
"BOOM!!!"
The spear tip pierced the earth like a bolt of black lightning. The entire island trembled slightly.
In that instant, as profound and obscure golden patterns lit up on the spear's shaft, an invisible ripple spread out for a thousand meters, like a pebble dropped into the center of a lake, creating concentric waves.
A seemingly gentle fluorescence enveloped the entire island, its boundary touching the lake's surface, appearing slightly distorted under the sunlight and filled with an unreal haziness.
The fishing hooks stopped before they could touch the Susanoo's outer wall. Along with them, the fishing rod and Urashiki's movements also froze. He trembled violently, as if struggling, like a man about to drown.
His "Amatsumikaboshi" could ignore all chakra and seek the source directly. In theory, it could pass through the Susanoo as if it were nothing. He only needed to continue swinging the rod, and the hook would easily pierce Kamihane's body, stealing his chakra, and the battle would be over.
Unfortunately, it wasn't that he didn't want to, but that he couldn't. The weight of the fishing rod in his hand had increased several dozen times in an instant, so heavy that he couldn't even lift his arm.
It wasn't just the fishing rod that was heavy, but his body as well. He was like a carp that had leaped out of the water with all its might, only to be suspended at its highest point. After a moment of struggle, he and the fishing hook fell, crashing heavily into the earth, embedded in the island along with broken branches and shattered wood.
"Damn it!!!!!"
He felt an immense humiliation. The chakra in his body felt like it was about to burn. He struggled to straighten up, but within the domain of the "Totsuka Blade," the gravity would continuously increase up to a hundredfold. It was as if arms of malevolent ghosts were reaching out from the depths of hell, trying to drag him into the abyss.
Urashiki's face was tense. He clenched his jaw so tightly that crimson blood seeped from the corners of his mouth. His arms trembled like a sieve, and his spine emitted a creaking sound as if it were about to break under the unbearable weight. The terrifying gravity was crushing every bone in his body, as if they would break through his skin at any moment and be sucked piece by piece into the abyss.
The island cracked. Urashiki began to sink into the ground inch by inch. The bone horn on the side of his head shattered with a "crack."
"Aaaaaahhh!!"
Blood vessels burst in his eyes. His Six Tomoe Rinnegan widened abruptly. Space distorted, and a pitch-black portal instantly appeared.
But his target wasn't himself, but the towering giant spear!
The space at the spearhead suddenly rippled, opening a huge portal. The "Totsuka Blade," like a high-speed train, plunged straight into the portal and vanished with a "whoosh."
In an instant, sunlight bathed the land. The gentle fluorescence was gone, and the domain disappeared with it. Urashiki had never felt so light, as if his very soul had been cleansed. He quickly scrambled up and shot into the sky.
He stared intently at Kamihane's figure, turning his pent-up rage into a torrential rain of fishing hooks, sealing off all of Kamihane's escape routes from every direction.
Kamihane, of course, knew that this thing could ignore the Susanoo. Other than materialized, hard iron creations, nothing could block these hooks. He immediately dispelled the Susanoo, letting its massive body dissipate into black smoke.
As the hooks closed in, the pattern in his right eye spun, preparing to teleport away by rewinding his spatial position and recovering the chakra he had just consumed.
However, Urashiki seemed to have been waiting for this moment for a long time. He let out a wild laugh, his blue Rinnegan switching at will. Amidst a strange fluctuation, Kamihane's... rewind failed!
Years of combat experience had forged his strong mental fortitude, so he didn't panic excessively. Instead, he calmly drew his sword. "Shimotsuki no Isshin" spun and twirled, forming an impenetrable wall. Crimson sparks splashed like water as he deflected all the fishing hooks.
He stared at Urashiki's dark, deep blue pupils, and for the first time in a long while, a ripple stirred in his heart.
It wasn't fear, but... the desire for a battle of life and death!
How many years had it been? The beating of his warrior's heart had almost fallen silent. Ever since that battle with Hashirama back then, he had never encountered an opponent who could make him take them seriously.
"How interesting. After all these years, this is the first time my 'Amaterasu' has failed." Kamihane wiped the blade with his fingertip, his thoughts racing: "Is it the ability of his blue Rinnegan? Not sure. Let's try again."
He made a grasping motion with his left hand. A stream of turquoise light stretched out in his palm, solidifying into a long sword.
"Hajimari no Shizuku: Kin no Shūren."
As a metallic sheen coated both blades, his entire aura changed. From his previous ethereal and otherworldly presence, he became heavy and solid, like a drawn sword. The twin blades glinted with a dangerous light, threatening to pierce space itself. Just looking at them was terrifying.
Ripples spread from beneath Kamihane's feet. His figure broke the sound barrier, becoming a fleeting shadow that was difficult to track with the naked eye.
The twin blades flashed, their cold, blurred arcs tearing through the air as if it were silk.
