Although Primeape and Hitmonlee chatted for a while, the two of them soon engaged in a full-on battle. Both Pokémon began fighting with all their might. Primeape's fists and Hitmonlee's legs continuously clashed as they each sought openings in the other's defenses.
In a brief opening, Hitmonlee leaped forward—executing a Double Kick, while Primeape endured the first flying kick and quickly closed the distance to Hitmonlee, then launched an attack from Hitmonlee's blind spot.
"Ora ora!"
"Jade's good! Ora until he loses his stamina!"
Watching Primeape furiously Ora Hitmonlee, the entire arena erupted in excitement.
"An original move resembling Ash's Primeape's 'Ora Ora' has appeared! How will Hitmonlee break through this relentless assault?!"
Hitmonlee, continuously being pummeled by 'Ora Ora,' realizes it can't keep going like this or it will surely lose.
"Hitmonlee, go!"
After spotting an opportunity, Hitmonlee immediately used the Low Kick move. This Low Kick made Primeape sense the danger, forcing it to halt its barrage and leap away to dodge.
"Go! Fury Swipes!"
"Roar!"
"Hitmonlee!"
Just as Hitmonlee and Primeape were battling again, Team Rocket's Meowth was sneaking under the ring. However, as he was about to deploy his machine, Pikachu tapped him on the shoulder.
"Who's there? Oh, Pikachu!"
Pikachu looked at Meowth and grinned, then:
"Pikachu!"
"Ahhhh!"
Listening to the cries of Meowth under the ring, Ash exchanged a glance with his own Meowth. The grinning Meowth jumped down into the ring.
When Meowth returned, Jessie impatiently asked:
"Almost Meowth. Is the machine installed yet?"
Ash's Meowth smiled and handed them the remote:
"No problem. Just press the button at the right moment. I'm going to secretly observe the kid."
Ash's Meowth slipped under the stage while Pikachu returned to Ash's side. On stage, Primeape and Hitmonlee prepared their final moves.
"Roar! (Final strike!)"
"Hitmonlee! (Just what I wanted!)"
As Jessie pressed the switch, a powerful current zapped her and James.
"Ahhh!"
Sawak launched a Double Flying Knee Kick while Ash shouted:
"Go, Primeape! Supreme Dragon Rising Fist!"
With Primeape's roar, it unleashed the move. Hitmonlee crashed onto the arena, unable to continue.
"Hitmonlee is unable to continue! The winner is Primeape!"
Misty shouted excitedly while Suzy hugged Vulpix:
"Primeape's move actually worked!"
After the match, Ash helped Hitmonlee up.
"Hitmonlee! (That move was beautiful!)"
"Roar! (Wanna beat up that girl together?)"
"Hitmonlee! (Sure, she's annoying!)"
When Jessie and James woke up, they found their Meowth charred.
"Damn it, we've been tricked!"
Primeape and Hitmonlee approached as Jessie clung to James.
"What a disgusting feeling~"
James asked confusedly while Ash explained:
"Jessie kept yelling earlier. They're venting frustration."
As James tried to help, Jessie flew into a wall. Primeape and Hitmonlee remained in their battle poses.
