The silver light quickly began spreading out, blanketing those nearest to it. Wounds began stitching themselves back up, fatigue vanishing immediately upon contact.
To those who were on death's edge, this felt like a miracle to them
Just then, a shining ball of light emerged from the dungeon, floating high into the sky. At the sheer luminosity of the figure, many were forced to cover their eyes, blinded by the sudden surge in light. Those few who managed to see could not accurately recount what they saw, the figure blurry and all.
But they all said the same thing
""She...was an Angel..."

Gasping for air, Vivian hid back underneath one of the many hollow trunks that dotted the fifth floor. The arid air made it really difficult for an unprepared Adventurer to charge on in further, especially if they are an illegal Adventurer...
Especially if they are an eleven-year-old
Crouching in the hole, Vivian trembled in fear, for she did not know how to go past the overwhelming number of Cactulians. Their tough, spiky bodies made it nearly impossible for her to destroy them with ease, especially considering that they were tier-5 in strength and she was tier-1.
The only reason she actually passed through the floors was because the staff helped shield her from all the monsters that were roaming down the floors. She barely managed to sneak past them, and the few times she was nearly caught, the bell on her staff helped shield her by directing the monsters' attention elsewhere.
"Are you sure Clochy? I mean, there's nothing here that will take me to where you want to go..."
"Ring..."
"Really? But I don't see anything–"
Boom!
A sudden explosion rocked the surroundings, as the Dungeon began trembling from the sudden explosion. Cracks began appearing on the floor, causing many Cactulians to tumble down into their doom. Vivian barely clung onto a dry branch, but even then, she hung precariously on the edge of the newly formed cliff.
"AAAAAHHHHH! HELP ME CLOCHY! I'M GONNA FA–"
Snap...
The branch broke, unable to handle her weight. With despairing eyes, she fell down the cliff, into her doom...
Or that was how it was supposed to be
Just when she had given up hope, just when she closed her eyes, just when she accepted her inevitable ending, a bright flash of silver light came from beside her. Before her gobsmacked eyes, a door formed itself in front of her eyes, opened its doors, and promptly sucked her in...

Seeing the silver light illuminated the burning sky, Titus did not know why, but he felt his body slowly gaining more and more energy. This energy...no...impossible...
Hiseyes shrunk in realisation, furniture dawned on him what it meant:
He regaining his powers
As he curled his fingers, he felt space crackling and disintegrating on his palms. He could not believe it, but there was no denying it...
He had returned
Watching Duncan struggle standing up, he told him to stay here. "Kid, stay here for now. I've got something to do..."
Without waiting for his reply, Titus broke into a dash, running towards the city...

Watching the silver light glow across the sky, young Brusolt felt that they were saved. He believed that the Angel in the air would come and save them all.
But despite what he saw, he felt a pang of regret in his heart...
Grandmama always told me that whenever we are in trouble, we should pray to the Grey Knight...
For he will save us all
Despite his skepticism, Brusolt nevertheless prayed to him whenever he was in trouble, as a habit of sorts. He never believed that he ever existed, chalking it up as an illusion his grandmama had created back when she was captured by the Orcs long ago.
Until today that is
Just as he was praying towards the Angel, he heard it.
Thump, crackle, clink...
Wondering what it was, he turned his head. What he saw next drove the very air out of his lungs.
Clad in what seemed like steel, the 3 m tall figure walked past him. Scrolls of all kinds hung on his armour, each pulsating every so often. Despite burning his eyes, he stubbornly insisted on reading the sigils etched in them, unable to believe what he was witnessing. "A-are you real...?"
Despite his skepticism, he knew with all his heart, that what stood before him was real.
The Grey Knight existed, and he had returned to save them all
Taking one last look at the awestruck Elf, the Knight gave a slight nod before igniting the thrusters on his back and flying towards the abomination...
