Aryan paced restlessly near the door, waiting for Alisha and Marco to arrive. He was worried about his little sister—this was the first time she had faced such a large crowd, and he feared it might have overwhelmed her.
As soon as Marco's car pulled into the driveway, Aryan rushed over to check on Alisha. But to his surprise, she was sound asleep in the back seat.
"How is she?" Aryan asked anxiously as Marco stepped out of the car.
"She's alright," Marco replied, opening the door and letting Aryan see for himself.
Relieved but still gentle, Aryan leaned in and carefully lifted Alisha into his arms. She stirred a little but didn't wake up. He carried her to her room and laid her down, brushing a strand of hair from her face before quietly closing the door behind him.
"Relax a bit," Marco said, pushing Aryan down onto the sofa and promptly lay his head in Aryan's lap with a grin. "Sometimes you should care about your boyfriend too," he added with a pout.
