She quickly turned away from him and faced her front, but still kept throwing side glances at him. He seemed angered as he looked at her, and she couldn't wrap her mind around why he was looking at her that way.
Ella shifted closer to his side, placing her hand on his shoulders. Ella's attention was focused forwards. It was only Kael who was looking at her with an infuriated expression.
"Isn't this meeting only for doctors?" Fiona asked Bradford as she turned towards him.
"It is, although some important people were invited." Bradford answered her question.
"Like Alphas?"
"Yes, important people like Alphas were invited."
She also saw another familiar person seated in the hall, but his attention wasn't directed towards her like Kael. It was Felix. He was present there as the prospective alpha of the pack. Alpha Hugh, the present alpha of Furry Canines, was also there, but she couldn't see Gloria.
