Chapter 16: Skill Fusion - Thousand Phantom Art
"All Stats Boost? What does that mean?" Tang Feng thought. Just then, the system panel appeared in front of him with the details of the All Stats Boost written on it.
Tang Feng nodded in satisfaction, "How does it work if it is a system skill?" he asked.
"I understand," Tang Feng said, getting on his feet as he got ready to activate the techniques he'd gotten from the Vortex Spin.
The Heavens vibrated as thunder and lightning rumbled across the sky. Tang Feng enveloped his fists with lightning, his body began glowing after which another loud rumble was heard and lightning fell right on Tang Feng's body, causing his entire body to be enveloped for a short while.
Tang Feng absorbed the lightning and his body emitted multiple luminous rays of light, the system panel popped up in front of him, and he watched as his abilities were getting power ups:
When the ray of light dissipated, Tang Feng began coming down and when he finally landed, Su Yan asked him to name his new lightning technique.
"Heaven Piercing Thunder Art," he said, the name immediately coming to mind.
"Yes," he simply said.
Tang Feng selected the two techniques he had decided on earlier and Su Yan processed it.
After a while, Tang Feng saw that there was a hold up on the fusion, so he sat down to meditate, after which he began sweating profusely.
"Break," he said, as he lost his balance and laid in his back.
He had chosen Myriad Shadow, Silent Step and Chi Barrier, so he could only imagine the terrifying strength of this new technique.
Since it was a movement based technique, Tang Feng decided to call it, "Thousand Phantom Art".
Tang Feng tried practicing it, so he flew up and stood midair, made a stance by placing one foot in front of the other, and in an instant, he had already covered a long distance in a blink.
"Su Yan, how far can I go with this new technique?" he asked.
He was pleased and began laughing, "With this, even if I encounter a Celestial, I can still fight," he said.
"Su Yan, are there any other system skills asides from this one?" Tang Feng asked, wanting to ensure he wasn't missing out on any important details.
"What does it mean?" Tang Feng asked.
"Interesting. So I can fight whenever I want with this?" he asked.
"So what do I need to say to activate it?" Tang Feng asked.
When Su Yan was done instructing Tang Feng, Tang Feng went into the cave behind him, and thankfully, it met the requirements that Su Yan mentioned earlier.
The route to the deepest parts of the cave was short so it didn't take long before Tang Feng reached a spacious room in the deepest parts of the cave.
There were pointy rocks frozen on the roof of the cave over millions of years, and the surroundings were filled with rocks and debris everywhere, with a dim lighting.
"Perfect," he said, after taking a good look at the area.
He closed his eyes, sucked in a huge amount of breath, and breathed it out again.
"Su Yan, do it," Tang Feng said telepathically, while trying to get into a state of focus, so he can efficiently apply his techniques.
He learned this in his last life and it had been his secret trump card, but also one of the reasons he lost.
Within the force field, there was a dark space, that looked like Tang Feng was in the air at night.
"I wonder if I can incorporate the Thousand Phantom Art into my movements as I fight," Tang Feng said, finally opening his eyes.
He looked around and saw the entire area was pitch black and he was in the air.
"Su Yan, has it started?" Tang Feng asked, wondering if this was the system skill.
Tang Feng nodded, but noticed he was the only one still standing.
"Where's my opponent?" he asked confused.
"So that's how it is," Tang Feng said, now having a clear understanding of what he should do.
"Can I suppress the cultivation of my opponent?" Tang Feng asked, wanting to know when to pull the stops.
"I understand," he said, thinking of starting with the sect master, Shen Zhu.
As he thought of him, Shen Zhu appeared before him.
Tang Feng was given a lot of terrains to choose from, but he decided to choose the void, because he wanted to familiarize himself with fighting in the void.
When he chose it, the scenery changed to the void, it looked so realistic, with huge debris from destroyed planes floating around.
Tang Feng tried touching the debris and his hands actually made contact with it.
He also tried letting a few of the smaller ones touch him and he felt it once they did, this made Tang Feng excited.
"Interesting," Tang Feng said.
"Luo Zeng, you dare to bully Muo'er, I'll kill you!" Shen Zhu said, breaking Tang Feng's observation.
He smiled at this and turned to him, striking his stance.
"Come on," he said.
