Chapter 95 - The Little Spider Invites Tohka to Cause Trouble Again

"Hey, Tohka. How about it, want to come with me for another big job?"

After Tohka obtained the symbiote, she had spent the next few days thinking about how to deal with it.

There was no helping it—Tohka really didn't want to find out what would happen if Deadpool got hold of this thing, so she could only use her own spirit power to set up an extra layer of protection on it.

But today, Spider-Kid unexpectedly contacted her, which really surprised her.

"What's the matter, you sound so excited. Did you run into some tricky situation and need my help?"

Looking suspiciously at the phone, Tohka had no idea what kind of crazy plan he was cooking up. Anyway, she knew that if he said it was "a big job," it definitely wasn't anything good.

"It's not a big deal really. Yesterday, some guy wearing a red-and-black skintight suit attacked me. Oh my god, that guy talked way too much. And he was insanely durable—no matter how much I beat him, he just wouldn't die."

As soon as the little spider finished speaking, he couldn't help but start complaining, his tone sounding completely drained.

"Hahaha, yeah, that guy really is annoying."

To be able to irritate the chatterbox Spider-Man this much, Tohka could only say: who knows what he went through.

Well, this saved her from having to introduce Deadpool herself.

As for how those two had met, she couldn't be bothered to think about it. Judging from how it sounded, although the little spider was annoyed, he didn't seem to truly hate Deadpool.

"Alright, anyway. That guy said he was hired by someone, but from the way he talked, it sounded like he got bullied a lot by his employer, so he gave me an important piece of information."

"Plus, over the past few days, I've looked into it myself and confirmed he wasn't lying." As he said this, the little spider even deliberately raised his voice, sounding unusually proud.

"..."

Fine, Tohka couldn't be bothered to waste words with him. Deadpool, Spider-Kid—both were the same type of chatterbox.

If she let him ramble, who knew how long it would take, so Tohka just stared with her dead-fish eyes—even though Spider-Man couldn't see it, with that guy's brain, he could probably imagine it.

"Alright, alright, I'll explain!" Sure enough, even without seeing her, Spider-Kid's powerful imagination let him instantly picture Tohka's expression. He immediately surrendered and hurriedly said, "I found a place that's manufacturing drugs. Wanna come check it out with me?"

"Wait, you're trusting that guy's information?" Tohka was a bit speechless. Wasn't Spider-Kid worried that Deadpool was setting him up? From the way he talked, it sounded like it was their first meeting.

"Relax, I already checked it out. There's no mistake. As for that guy—I can tell he wasn't lying. And even if it's a trap, so what? You'll be there, right? What's there to be afraid of?" Spider-Kid patted his chest to assure her, not realizing he had just blurted out his real reason.

"So basically, you're dragging me along as your bodyguard." Tohka was speechless. Did he think she was an idiot?

"Ahahaha, no no no, it's not like that at all!" Spider-Man quickly tried to laugh it off. "It's just that, um, the place is too far from New York—it's way out in a small town. I can't operate there, so I'm relying on you. You know, not a lot of tall buildings out there for me to swing from."

This time he wasn't lying. Outside the skyscrapers of New York, Spider-Kid's mobility dropped by half. He couldn't just walk there, and buying a car was out of the question. Stealing one was even less of an option.

"Hmm, New York's suburbs?" Hearing the little spider's words, Tohka was a little surprised too. She hadn't expected it to be that far away.

"Yeah, it's in the suburbs. I want you to take me there, it won't take too long." Hearing Tohka's response, the little spider quickly nodded, afraid she would refuse.

"Alright, fine. It's not like I have anything better to do. Let's go knock this out quickly. Just send me your location, and I'll be there." Thinking about it, Nick Fury had asked her for help with some experiments, but that wasn't anything urgent. So Tohka agreed without hesitation.

"Okay! I'm at XXX."

Hearing Tohka's reply, the little spider quickly nodded like crazy, afraid she would change her mind. He immediately sent his location to Tohka through the battle suit Tony had made for him.

Meanwhile, Tohka put on her armor immediately and flew out of her house through the window. Poor security cameras at her door were practically rusting, but Tohka hardly ever used the front door anyway.

"Hey, heiress! I'm right here!" As soon as Tohka reached the spot, she saw Spider-Man bouncing around to get her attention.

"Alright, I'm here. Now tell me where exactly we're going." Hovering in front of him in her armor, Tohka got straight to the point.

"OK, let's see. According to the intel, the target's in a bungalow inside that town. Once we get there, we can figure it out." Looking at the purple crystal-like armor in front of him, even though it wasn't his first time seeing it, the little spider couldn't help but admire it again. Still, his hands moved quickly and he sent another message to Tohka.

"Got it. Let's go!"

Seeing the coordinates, Tohka grabbed Spider-Man and took off at full speed.

"Hey, hey, don't grab me by the ankle! This looks ridiculous! And it's nauseating!" Poor Spider-Man. Whether intentionally or not, Tohka had grabbed him by the ankle and was carrying him upside down through the sky. It wouldn't hurt him, but it sure looked incredibly stupid. If anyone saw him like this, his heroic image would be ruined forever.

"Be quiet, don't sweat the small stuff." Tohka couldn't care less. She was already speeding toward the destination.

"Hey hey, this is not a small thing, okay!"
