The mummy warrior, perhaps weakened by the broken bandages or shocked by the turn of events, took a few steps back and sat down on the ground.
"Impossible! How could you break my bandages?!" the mummy warrior exclaimed.
"There's nothing impossible," John said. "What you consider impossible is just a result of your weakness."
John continued, "You're truly weak. I think it's time to switch to the next opponent. Either you admit defeat, or I'll eliminate you."
"Damn you, brat! I won't surrender so easily," the mummy warrior shouted as he furiously threw punches at John.
John scoffed, "Stubborn fool!" With a swift movement, he disappeared from everyone's sight. When they saw John again, he had already delivered an elbow strike to the mummy warrior's abdomen.
The powerful blow knocked out the physically strong mummy warrior.
John raised his hand, holding the warrior, and asked the fortune-telling granny, "Is this enough? I won."
The fortune-telling granny, of course, didn't deny it. She said, "Then prepare for the next battle. I hope your performance continues to impress."
John smiled nonchalantly and said, "I hope I won't disappoint you." With a casual flick of his wrist, he threw the mummy warrior back into the demon's mouth.
The fortune-telling granny shouted, "Come out, demon warrior! Show them your strength."
Soon, a demon with bat-like wings, two horns on its head, and a pointed tail emerged from the other demon's mouth.
Upon appearing, the demon warrior boasted, "Kid, I'm impressed that you defeated the mummy warrior. Well done, but it ends here. Your winning streak will end with me."
John didn't respond to his words but turned to the fortune-telling granny and said, "Granny, your warriors are not very strong, but they sure love to boast."
The fortune-telling granny smiled mysteriously and said, "It's not boasting. You'll see soon enough. But I must remind you that my demon warrior has never failed since he started guarding this place for me. I hope you can give him his first taste of defeat today."
"Well, it seems I've overestimated not only your subordinates but also your opponents," John said.
"Today, I'll show you that there are more skilled fighters in this world than you can imagine," John declared. He took a fighting stance, ready to take the initiative. John was getting tired of bullying these weak opponents.
The demon warrior was well aware of John's strength and immediately assumed a defensive stance. However, before he could react, John vanished from his sight.
The demon warrior felt a sharp pain in his stomach and realized that the kid had struck him. The agony in his stomach made him vomit bile, and he almost threw up his gallbladder.
"You can't even withstand a single blow from me. How dare you fight me?" John said calmly. With an uppercut to the demon warrior's chin, he knocked him off his feet.
John then turned to the fortune-telling granny and said, "Bring out the fifth warrior. This one is not up to par."
Just as the fortune-telling granny was about to concede and summon the fifth warrior, the demon warrior wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said, "No need to switch. I still have one last move."
The fortune-telling granny was taken aback but quickly realized something. "No, you can't use that move. We had an agreement about it," she said.
"Agreement? Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to honor that agreement today. I won't allow such an insult to go unpunished," the demon warrior said as he flew into the air.
The fortune-telling granny tried to stop him, "You can't use that technique here! You can't kill on my territory!"
"Shut up, or I'll kill you too!" the demon warrior shouted at the fortune-telling granny.
"Damn you, you evil creature!" the fortune-telling granny cursed.
Ignoring the fortune-telling granny's protests, the demon warrior flew high into the air. He knew that John was fast, but he assumed John couldn't fly, so he chose to execute his ultimate move from the air to ensure his safety.
The demon warrior taunted John, "Do you think you're so great? Can you withstand my ultimate move?"
John, of course, knew what the demon warrior's ultimate move was, but he smiled and said, "Why not? Go ahead."
"Excellent!" The demon warrior was thrilled. He extended two fingers from each hand and pointed them at his temples. He began to channel his energy, and soon, two purple beams of light formed at his fingertips. With a loud shout, he aimed his fingers at John and unleashed the "Demon Ray."
The purple beams of light shot out from his fingers and hit John's body. The demon warrior was delighted to see his Demon Ray wrap around John's body.
"Every person has a dark side within them," the demon warrior explained. "Some like to tattle, peep, or have lustful thoughts. While these minor flaws may not be a big deal in daily life, when hit by my Demon Ray, they magnify the evil in their hearts. Eventually, their bodies will burst from the expansion of evil thoughts."
"So, kid, it's time for you to die!"
However, the demon warrior's triumphant laughter quickly turned into a cry of disbelief. "Impossible! How can you show no reaction after being hit by my Demon Ray?!"
John concentrated his ki, and the Demon Ray that had enveloped his body was compressed by his ki, forming a purple ball of light in his hand.
John turned to the demon warrior, who was still flying in the air, and said with a smile, "What if you were hit by your own Demon Ray? Would you magnify the evil in your heart?"
"What?!" The demon warrior was puzzled by John's words.
But soon, he understood. John flicked his wrist, and the purple ball of light in his hand flew towards the demon warrior. Before he could dodge, he was hit by his own Demon Ray.
The demon warrior felt the evil thoughts within him begin to swell and expand. His heart ached as it was stretched, and he finally understood the agony of those who had been hit by his Demon Ray in the past.
In the end, the demon warrior screamed, "Nooooo!" His body burst and exploded into a purple cloud of smoke, slowly dissipating into the air.
