Camille started to struggle, but Benjamin leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Be a good girl, Ms. Nelsen. You wouldn't want Grandfather to find out what you did back in that village."
Her face went pale. Her body went weak, and the bodyguard dragged her away.
Benjamin wasn't the timid boy she once pushed around. Now, he was like a young wolf who had learned to show his teeth.
Why had he changed? Why was everyone around her changing?
Benjamin watched calmly as the bodyguard helped Camille into the car. Then he took out his phone and dialed a number.
His voice was as light and gentle as always. "Mr. Nelsen, Ms. Nelsen is in the car now."
"Good job. Make sure someone keeps an eye on her at all times. I don't want her causing any trouble."
"Yes, Mr. Nelsen." Benjamin ended the call, pleased to be praised by Rowan again.
