Then she smiled softly, a cold but amused smile. "Hmm… interesting question," she said, tapping her chin with her finger.
She tilted her head.
"I'll make you a deal," Aurora said finally. "If… and I mean IF… every single person you've hurt… forgives you completely… I'll leave you alone."
The boys lifted their heads slowly.
But Aurora's smile widened, more devilish than before.
"But…" she added, her eyes narrowing, "if even ONE of them refuses to forgive you… Well… you'll stay mine."
The boys' hearts sank all over again.
Aurora, feeling satisfied after venting all her anger, turned off her laptop and fell back onto her bed. She stretched out lazily, letting out a deep sigh.
The whole situation with the three boys had been exhausting, but at least she felt like she had gained some control. Still, she was tired. It had been a long day, and all she wanted was some rest. She closed her eyes, thinking she'd just sleep it off.
