Before Aurora could react, the kid crashed right into her legs and fell flat on the ground with a loud "Thud!"
The boy's face scrunched up, and within seconds, loud wailing filled the air.
"It hurts! It hurts so much!" he cried, holding his knee and rocking back and forth dramatically.
Aurora stared at the kid, blinking in disbelief.
What in the world…?
Slowly, she knelt down beside him. "Hey… are you okay? Where does it hurt?" she asked, her voice surprisingly gentle.
But the little boy's reaction shocked her.
As soon as he saw her face, his teary eyes grew big and angry.
"You're a bad person!" he shouted, and before Aurora could dodge, the kid started hitting her with his chubby little fists.
Aurora leaned back in surprise, barely avoiding a soft punch to her stomach.
"Hey! What's your problem?!" she asked, confused and a little annoyed.
But the kid wasn't done.
"You wanted to kill me!" he screamed dramatically, hitting her arm with all the strength his tiny hands had.
