Nova kept himself calm, ignoring the lingering feeling of being watched by what was supposed to be the dead and focused on the task at hand, for that was important to him, he was not going to make yet another mistake.
Seeing that he was on edge, Kiros glanced at him and his eyes narrowed and brows furrowed. He knew as well, due to their current predicament, they could not afford any mistakes, so he pulled Nova to his left side, near Tesa and Nova glanced at him.
"Keep your abilities under control for when we might actually need them," Kiros said and Nova nodded, thankful that Kiros distracted him before he actually turned to confront the roaming ones nearby.
Just then, a light humming began—a vibration more than sound, barely perceptible, but enough to make Nova tense. It pulsed in the air, somewhere deeper within the forest.
