Chapter 86 - Not to acknowledge

After disappearing into the portal, Nova felt the impact of it, the world felt as though it was spinning, there was nothing but darkness, and a cool air surrounded them, making him wonder where exactly the enemy base was, for the travel in between the spaces, felt longer than usual. 

Nova could sense it, almost see it as they waited, shadows dancing along the edge of their vision before the swirling magic gave way to a chilling breeze and a dim, muted landscape.

Large trees loomed around them like silent sentinels, their bark twisted and gnarled, roots sprawling across the moss-covered ground like veins of an ancient beast.
