Chapter 150 - Helping Hands - Chapter 6

"Well, what members seem to be lost? We've seen a few that we passed by in the meantime. They must be pretty unlucky to get separated in such a dungeon."

"It was the two starless students. Dovetail and your sister Laurier."

A pause sat in the air as the words left her mouth, the others looked at one another in silence at the sound of Iris' name being brought up. Rowan's body language shifted slightly in the moment, stiffening up before settling down. He covered his mouth with his hand before letting out an exasperated laugh. The sound filled the area as the others sat confusedly at the fact he was laughing in a moment like this.

He stopped suddenly as his eyes focused on Azuri once more, who seemed taken aback by such a reaction. He knew they weren't the closest, but laughing after hearing your sister is missing was definitely off putting to say the least.

"Ha! I knew she'd be nothing but a nuisance! Now that dumbass is stuck somewhere because of her! I called it, but totally didn't expect it to actually happen!" His laughter continued as Azuri had a look of disgust on her face from his words. Talking about someone you don't particularly like is one thing, but your younger sibling? He then continued.

"Not to mention the toothy fellow that's with her. His face really pisses me off, I hope he learns his lesson in messing with family matters. I'm sure he's off getting mauled by that damned beast anyways. I could care less what happens to him. It's always outsiders who want to play the hero so badly that they get what's due to them."

His words left not only Azuri, but his teammates in shock for how vulgarly he could speak about two other students, especially with one being his own family. She scoffed at his remark before activating her magic once more, realizing that there was no use of sitting around listening to him anymore. If she wanted help, she'd need to look for others.

"I knew you'd be of no help. I'll look for someone who is actually useful." she said before quickly flying off in another direction, leading to many more pathways within the dungeon. Her frustration with his attitude and belittlement of two people she considered quite capable left nothing but a bad taste in her mouth.

"What a despicable person."
