Chapter 127 - Second Army of Silver [1]

Cedric rose up from a prayer, his mind fully focused on one thing.

He would need to summon more Angels.

No matter how impure and unholy the demon empire was, it would be ill-advised to underestimate their armies.

The angel army he had summoned before was sufficient, but he doubted their numbers were enough.

While humanity and demons alike were weak in his eyes, it did not mean that Iguva and his inner circle were as weak as to be easily dismantled.

As much as he wanted to send the first Angel army to destroy the empire themselves, it was foolish.

He did not know anything about the inner workings of the empire; at most, he knew who their leader was.

However, even that base suffered from an information drought.

Cedric did not know how he ruled, what his armies were capable of, what their most powerful officers could do.

While Legions of God would most certainly triumph, he did not wish to allow Demon Emperor even a single chance to save himself or his army.

'Even his army is of an unknown size...' He tilted his head slightly.

A small amount of Angels could destroy it no matter what; however, way too many could escape.

Each day, Cedric had summoned Thousand Guardians, and yet he did not summon any of the higher Angels.

Guardians would certainly be enough to handle almost all basic troops, they wouldn't be enough to handle elites, considering that weaklings like Rayn and Lucious were able to destroy 3 of them.

Higher Angels would be necessary, he still had most of his cap remaining for all 3rd and 2nd Sphere Angels.

A brief chill ran down his spine.

If he were to summon the 31 remaining dominions, would they behave like Ariel, or would they have their own personality?

"Status." He muttered before quickly finding information about his summoning cap.

At the very least, he would fill out the Archangel cap.

However, that alone was not enough.

After summoning all possible Archangels, he would need to name them.

Cedric crossed his arms briefly as he thought about it.

'Naming would take forever... but the power boost they would receive would make up for it.'

While Archangels would remain normal Angels and not ascend into the greater Angel class, they would still attain a lot of power to face Demons and cast them back to hell.

Ascending some of them would have been ideal; however, Cedric lacked the necessary Apex level to make the most of the skill.

He let out a groan, "Unfortunately, naming will have to suffice."

In his mind, he had finally reached a conclusion.

He would spend the entire day summoning Archangels and naming them.

That way, his forces would most certainly gain another edge over Iguva.

Just as he was about to use his skill, another thought invaded his mind.

Where would these warriors live?

To leave them just in the middle of the countryside without an immediate mission would be heretical.

First Angel army had destroyed a large number of demonic nests with Ariel and her Squad cleaning up everything that remained.

The fact that the destruction was so throughout meant that the former demon-infested land was free for the taking.

"Perhaps..." He took a moment to think, "A city full of Angels between Demons and Humans."

That was it, perfection.

The purged territory could be inhabited fully by Angels, a perfect barrier to protect humanity as they embrace Christ.

Unlike humans, Angels did not require a ruler or anything similar, they did not even need to live anything resembling to how humans do.

However, it would be an excellent idea for a city to be built where humans may live eventually.

It was a waste for them to remain confined in such a small area compared to the Demon Empire.

According to Valar's knowledge, the world consisted of 4 major continents, 1 of which was fully under the control of the Demon Empire.

Then, 1, which Valar was located on, was almost fully taken by the empire, but for some reason, humanity was able to keep its independence.

And finally remaining 2 were unknown.

The kingdom of Valar had no information about them other than their existence.

They did not know if the Demon Empire had control over them or if it was ruled by humanity or perhaps something worse.

It was something Cedric needed to take a mental note of.

Once the Demon Empire was purged from this continent, its mainland would be invaded.

'It makes sense why it takes Iguva 3 months to deploy armies... Demons would invade from another continent.'

Despite that information, it did not reveal anything useful other than that it would take years to properly purge every demon in the world.

Something he did not care for.

Even if it took centuries to clear out all the demons, he would accept the task with open arms and heart.

But no matter how much this task may take in the long run there was a mission he needed to do.

Clear this continent of all demons, excluding those who embraced Christ.

No, it would be non-Christian to call those who embraced Christ demons; they would be proper Angels despite their demonic past.

Cedric, as a mere servant of God's Will, had no right to judge those who saw error in their ways and embraced the light once again.

"After all, God is all forgiving." Cedric resisted the urge to drop into prayer.

There was work to do, and Angels weren't going to summon themselves.

Cedric stretched his arms towards open field before finally starting long journey of summoning maximum amount of Angels.
