The presence of a priest in our conversation came as a surprise to me, but it got interesting after that.
In the darkest hours of the night, just after midnight, when Giggs and Grace had arrived in Michigan from London and stepped into the airport, a group of children, none looking older than ten, walked up to them.
A quick scan showed that there was no one watching over the kids. Not even the airport security paid them any attention.
Both Giggs and Grace had immediately gone on alert at their appearance, but then the kids suddenly began screaming, terror in their voices and eyes as they ran toward Giggs and Grace, seeking protection.
Grace and Giggs tried to back away, telling the kids to stay back, but they quickly swarmed them, surrounding both adults with their small, frightened bodies.
