My eyes were glued to the news screen ever since one of Edward's security drove me back home that afternoon. The entire scene looked like a movie as a news report stood outside the penthouse building Malia and Demyan lived in.
There wasn't much information the family had given to the reporters but it was confirmed both Demyan and Malia were attacked. I hadn't heard from Edward since he first called me to tell me security would be taking me home. He sounded absolutely distraught and my heart broke for him.
When I asked him if they were alright he couldn't even answer me therefore I knew just to give him time. That was four days ago and even though I knew for him the whole world stopped, for me it had to carry on.
