Ding Dong! Ding Dong!
The front door bell rang repeatedly. Shentu Chu threw the book down and groaned. After snatching the file from Shentu Jing, he felt a little at ease.
But he haven't seen or talk to Shentu Jing for some time, and it was starting to bother him. Shentu Jing was quiet like a sleeping lion, calm when asleep, turbulent when awoken.
Deep in his mind, he was afraid that Shentu Jing would planned something to counter him.
He dragged his feet to the door and swung it open. Qiao Nian stood in front of Shentu Chu, her fingers fidgetting nervously.
He pulled her in and slammed the door behind her.
Qiao Nian shank her neck, afraid that Shentu Chu was angry at her for coming uninvited.
"Nian Nian, next time don't come here without telling me first, okay? Someone might be waiting to catch you," he said concernly.
Qiao Nian nodded. "Um...."
"What is it? Your brother?" He asked patiently.
