Chapter 95 - Chapter 94: Global RV World Rankings Released

Su Chen called Jun Ma over to the dining table. The poor girl clearly wasn't fully awake yet, moving sluggishly and nothing like her usual energetic self.

Head drooping, Jun ma stayed silent. Maybe it was from being stuck inside the storage box for too long—it looked like she was about to explode from pent-up energy.

'Looks like I need to take her out for a walk tomorrow,' Su Chen thought. No matter how much of a homebody you are, staying cooped up forever isn't good. At least go out and get some fresh air.

Su Chen snapped a photo of tonight's dinner, making sure to include the automatic stir-fry machine in the shot.

Then he uploaded it online with the caption: Dinner for me and Jun ma tonight.

Jun ma was considered one of the better-looking ones in the RV World—most survivors probably hadn't seen a mare like her. Only a select few had the luck to own one.

("Damn, even this horse is eating better than me! My mood just tanked."

"OMG, stir-fried pork! It looks so fragrant. When will I ever get to eat that, sob sob."

"As expected of a top dog—even his meals are that refined."

"Hey, what's that machine next to him? A mini washing machine or something?"

"No clue. Anyone know what that thing is?"

"Tch, clearly you guys aren't in the know. That's an automatic stir-fry machine. It cooks dishes all on its own."

"Holy crap, seriously?!")

Apparently, there were still some knowledgeable folks in the RV World. This kind of gadget was rare; even Su Chen hadn't known about it until he stumbled upon one.

After all, he came from an ordinary family. Back home, his parents cooked. Being able to eat out once in a while was already a luxury—who had the money to buy something like this?

With this stir-fry machine, there was no need to hire a housekeeper. The food it made was actually delicious.

Su Chen had long lost track of how many days he'd spent in this place. All he knew was that ever since he arrived, his development had been rapid.

He turned on the screen inside the RV. Today's basic info was displayed:

Weather: Sunny

Temperature: 10°C

Today is a good day to go out.

You've now been in the RV World for twelve days.

To those ahead—keep it up. To those behind—don't lose heart. Push harder and catch up.

"Burp~" Su Chen rubbed his round belly—completely stuffed.

Tonight's meal had been especially appetizing, the best he'd had so far.

Even the picky Jun ma had eaten a lot, proof of the freshness and flavor of the ingredients.

Automatic Stir-Fry Machine: freeing your hands since day one!

Cooking while watching a movie—what a dream come true!

Su Chen couldn't stop praising it. With this thing, cooking was no longer a problem.

Sure, he knew how to cook, but only a few dishes.

Ingredients in the RV World were all obtained randomly—there wasn't some convenient marketplace to shop in.

If he happened to get something unfamiliar, the result might turn out awful. That was hard to avoid.

But now, with this machine, that problem was completely solved.

As night fell, it was time to sleep.

Su Chen wrapped himself in an ordinary blanket. After getting used to sleeping on a Simmons mattress, anything else just felt off.

But there was no helping it—the Simmons was soaked in blood and stank of it.

The smell made Su Chen nauseous just thinking about it, let alone trying to clean it.

So he'd thrown it away. No big deal—maybe he'd get lucky and find an even better one later.

Ordinary blankets worked just fine. Maybe it was because he was really tired—he fell asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow.

When he opened his eyes again, it was already morning.

Su Chen stretched, casually tidied his hair.

A quick glance outside: no rain, no sunshine.

A pretty average day.

It had been a while since he cleaned the RV, and it was actually pretty grimy.

He squatted down, peering at the gaps in the window frame. Sure enough—dust and grime everywhere.

Grabbing a tattered rag, he started wiping it down while humming a tune.

"Da-da-da, I'm a little painter, and painting is what I do best~"

Completely unrelated to cleaning, but you could tell—he was genuinely in a good mood.

Probably because of all the comments on his photo from last night.

Not that the comments were important—what mattered was that Su Chen had just flexed hard.

Bang bang bang!

Suddenly, a loud noise nearly burst Su Chen's eardrums. He stared blankly, utterly confused about what just happened.

[Today marks your twelfth day in the RV World and the fifth day of the second round of the competition.

You've all performed much better than in the first round. Now, I'm here to announce something important!

Until now, rankings have been private—people didn't even know your names. But that ends today.

From now on, all rankings will be made fully public and transparent for every survivor to see.]

Up until now, rankings were released once a week in order. No one ever knew whether they were moving up or down.

The only right move was to keep progressing forward.

Those near the bottom—step it up. Don't let yourself stay in a weak position. Adjust your mindset and push forward.

As for those at the top—be extra careful. Your identities are now out in the open.

Everyone around the world now knows your name and face. Before, you were just another anonymous survivor.

But from today on, everything changes. Human nature cannot withstand temptation.

When faced with abundant supplies and rich food, people easily forget themselves—and might do terrible things.

[The global rankings will be publicly released at 8:00 AM today]

The announcement was longer than usual. Su Chen quickly skimmed through it.

And when he read the final line, a chill ran down his spine.

The thing he had been dreading was finally here.

Because of the system, his life in the RV World had been going great—but he'd never wanted anyone to know that.

And now, he was about to be publicly executed by exposure?

7:58:23.

Just over a minute until the rankings went live.

Saying he wasn't nervous would be a lie.

In his mind, Su Chen was already imagining people smashing up his RV and looting his food.

He took a deep breath. No one could understand the tension he felt right now.

3, 2, 1—

The global announcement board released an image.

It listed everyone's ranking. The top 100 had their names shown.

The rest could search their name to find their own placement.

Before he could process what was happening, he saw the very top—

Su Chen.

Two characters—bright, bold, unmistakable. Ranked in descending order.

Seeing his name in the number one spot—wouldn't that only fuel everyone's jealousy even more?
