Chapter 93 - Chapter 92: The Smart System

Su Chen quickly shifted his attention back to the smart system. At first glance, it looked like an ordinary doll, but its functionality was incredibly powerful.

The doll itself was quite convenient—small enough to be placed in any corner of the RV.

He flipped the switch on the doll's back, and a crisp, pleasant sound rang out.

"Ding! Congratulations, Master, the smart system has been successfully activated. My name is Xiao Min, and from now on, I'll be at your service!"

"Devices in the RV available for connection include: the television, air conditioner, refrigerator, and lighting in each room."

"Master, which device would you like to connect?"

To his surprise, the voice of the system was so sweet and pleasant—it totally caught him off guard.

Being able to integrate all the RV's appliances into one system? That was incredibly convenient.

It meant Su Chen no longer had to get up in the dark just to turn off the lights and then fumble his way back to bed.

"Xiao Min, can you connect with all the devices?"

Without a second thought, Su Chen gave the command.

Why not activate everything at once? It was way more efficient than fiddling with each appliance manually.

"Connecting devices in progress: 1... 2... 3..."

Su Chen heard a sound reminiscent of a software update. The smart system had begun its work.

Suddenly, a flash of bright white light lit up before him.

It was so intense he had to shut his eyes tight.

About ten seconds later, the light faded.

"Congratulations, Master! All RV devices have been successfully connected. You may now begin enjoying the experience."

Rubbing his eyes with both hands, Su Chen slowly opened them.

"Holy crap... this is insane…"

He was stunned—he hadn't expected such a massive transformation in just a few dozen seconds.

His RV was now fully upgraded with advanced technology and automation.

It was no longer just a collection of flashy components—it had become a true smart vehicle.

Human society was evolving rapidly, and global smart automation was clearly the next trend.

After all, it significantly boosted productivity. People were inherently lazy these days—cooking was such a hassle that most just ordered takeout.

Su Chen still didn't know just how practical the smart system would be, so he decided to run a few tests.

"Xiao Min, turn on the lights in the living room," he said—referring to the main activity space in the RV.

Instantly, the living room lights came on.

"Xiao Min, set the air conditioner to 25 degrees."

It was winter now, and the temperature outside was pretty low. Even wearing a thick cotton coat, one could still feel the chill when scavenging for supplies.

Many survivors across the world had frozen to death—their vans had poor insulation, and they didn't have proper winter clothes. They perished not long after the temperature dropped.

In comparison, Su Chen was much more fortunate.

It felt like everyone else was in survival mode, while he was on vacation, living in comfort and luxury.

"Not bad! This smart system is amazing!"

Su Chen was genuinely satisfied. After all, he was trying to survive, not take a holiday—so he couldn't afford to be too picky.

And the performance was top-notch—pretty much on par with the smart system he had used before in his world.

"This is perfect! Now I can convert my RV into a commercial mobile hub."

"Then I'll build a business empire and become its CEO."

Su Chen couldn't help but laugh aloud. His dreams were getting a little out of hand—but in a fun way.

No wonder he was the top dog in the RV world. Even his ambitions were on a different level.

And hey, dreams weren't impossible—if you're determined, success is always within reach!

Truly, Su Chen was a classic case of an over-the-top dreamer—his fantasies were always delightfully excessive.

But he was also pretty sharp. His brain was constantly cooking up wild, creative ideas.

Right now, a bold new plan was forming in his mind.

In the future, everything he owned would be connected to the smart system—for full-scale automation.

Smart driving, smart appliances, smart combat systems!

That would make life so much easier. After all, the future of vehicles was clearly autonomous driving. Su Chen wanted to be on the cutting edge.

And when it came to household appliances, smart control made things a breeze. No more hunting for the remote just to turn on the AC or switch the TV channel.

Remotes were notorious for getting lost. And if you had kids, forget it—they'd throw the remote around every day.

But with a smart system? No more worries. Just say the word and your favorite show would pop up on screen.

"Xiao Min, turn on the TV and play Sponge Jade Jade."

Su Chen lay back on the bed, ready to relax for a bit.

With the smart system in place, his hands were truly freed. No more channel surfing to find a decent movie.

Even though he'd already shut down his livestream, people were still spamming the chat below. Clearly, they didn't want it to end—they were hoping for one more grilled fish show.

Some had even started leaving comments on cherry Tomato's homepage—and not just one or two.

("Why did the Joker stop streaming? We're not done watching!"

"That movie was amazing—I can't stop thinking about it. The male lead was just too handsome!"

"Thank you, big bro, for fulfilling this little lady's dream!"

"Wow! That was seriously one of the best things I've ever seen—I take back everything I said before!"

"I'm sick of using the word 'jealous' already.")

After all, Su Chen was the only person in the entire RV world who had ever done a livestream. Tons of people approached him for all sorts of reasons.

He enjoyed watching unboxing videos online, so he figured—why not do one himself?

He just so happened to have a 10,000-follower milestone gift: an automatic cooking machine.

It came packed in a cardboard box and looked pretty sleek.

He might as well review the performance of the cooking machine too.

That was the real point—everything else was secondary.

"How the hell does this thing even work? I'm freaking speechless…"

Su Chen fumbled with it for quite a while but still couldn't figure it out. In the end, he had no choice but to start a new livestream.

But this stream wouldn't go to waste—Su Chen had already checked the livestream platform's reward system.

All the gifts were high-tech gadgets, and the next tier required 50,000 followers.

Originally, Su Chen had assumed the milestone gift would be food, since it was described as "a week's worth of supplies for ten people."

Ten people's worth of supplies? It had to be food, right?

If it was just food, Su Chen wouldn't have been all that excited. He already had more than enough stock.

His supply situation was basically stable—he had no shortage whatsoever.

But getting high-tech gear? That made him genuinely happy. That was exactly the kind of thing he needed right now.

He could already picture how the next livestream would go down.

Evening was fast approaching. Most people had already finished their day's work and were settling in to rest.
