The envoy watch his daughter cry. His lips are perch and he look outside the snowy scenery. He see some children playing in the snow.
"My daughter, if i ask you to forget about him. Will you do it?"
She wipe her tears and look sorrow at her father's face.
"I will do as father say. However i will never be happy. Even if you arrange another man to marry me. I will marry without my soul. That husband will receive a lifeless woman."
He sigh loudly. At that moment they reach their mansion. Kim MinJin get off the carriage slowly after her father. Before she walk off with her maid, he said loudly.
"My daughter, we have to arrange to meet his biological father. After that i will tell you whether you should marry him or not!"
Min Jin feels a sense of hope. She smile and bow to him before walking into the mansion.
Two weeks later they went to the other mansion to meet the biological father of Li Jun. After dinner he leaves and return home to meet his daughter. Min Jin is wait impatiently for her father at the hall. He enter while dusting the snow off his hair and shoulder. The servant help to remove his coat and he sits down to drink tea. His daughter waits patiently for her father to say a word. He look at her and put down the tea.
"I have a good time with the Prince and consort. They are very nice."
He look at the face of his daughter who is impatient now. He cough to clear his throat.
"I personally think his mother mansion is better. At least she is reasonable and pretty to look at. Prince Li Jun is alike to Prince Li Cheng in terms of manners."
"So father, is it fine if..."
"Ask the boy to come propose properly with all the proper procedures. I don't want anything sloppy or look lacking. "
His daughter smile and laugh. She jump from her seat and bow deeply. She run off with her maid chasing her. The envoy laugh and watch his daughter picking her skirt up and run to her room. He smile and stroke his beard. He hope he have make a good decision for her.

The envoy look at it with satisfaction and keep the letter of promise. While MinJin read her letter and cry. Lin Xing later take out a pair of earrings.
"This is one of the earrings made for my mother when she marry. She got it from my grandmother, the dowager. I shall give it to you and i hope you will wear it on our wedding day."
She smile and look at the pair of pear earrings. She nod her head.
"Li Xing, i want you to promise me that in your household, the only wife you have is my daughter. You cannot marry other woman. Promise me."
"I, Li Xing promise to marry Kim MinJin and she is the only wife i am going to have. We will be happily married."
With that the marriage date is set to be next year spring as this year's spring is arriving after the snow melts thus there is no time for wedding preparation. Hence the young couple need to wait till next year for the big celebration.

When the snow melts, the young couple is separated. Li Xing promise to pick up her and pay respect to her family before bring her back to Tang. She parted with him in tears. On his horse, he accompany them to the port where the ship are waiting for them. In a years time, he will take the ship to where his bride lives and return as a married couple. The thought of it makes him smile.
