The next few days, Hu Li dress up like a boy with a high pony tail. Dress like a scholar, she walk around town. There are people who are talking about the assassination that day. Hu Li listens to various places their version of what had happen. She continue to walk around town and watch what is going on. With her magic, she change her appearances so that no one can remember an ordinary stranger comes and goes.
As she sits on the rooftop watching the ordinary people going about their everyday. She play with the paper windmill in her hand. She keep blowing it till she realise that someone is staring at her. She turn her head and look down to see who is it. He is the same officer who hold the sword up to her face in the grand hall. Hu Li stop blowing with the paper windmill in her hand. She retract her lips and look somewhere else. Slowly she gets up and want to get off the rooftop and before she can leap. She see his men are downstairs waiting for her. She is considering if should she leap off the other rooftop or not. Under the broadway light, she is too noticeable. Thus she stand there, she look down and see the stranger using his finger to point to her and later to the ground in front of him. She of course understand what he is saying but she just stand there. She smile and decide to wait for him to climb up.
The sunlight is strong at the afternoon however Hu Li is not feeling the heat. While the solders and the officer is feeling the heat. They are perspiring and the officer cannot afford to lose the lead again. For now he is sure that person is not the enemy but who is this person. Why and how and what this person knows. He watch the stranger on the rooftop continue to play with the paper windmill. The officer is getting frustrated. Suddenly he see the stranger gets up and start to run.
"Chase!"
Hu Li see a group of men and woman behaving strangely. She use her vision power to look at the bags they are carrying. Explosives and fire starters are hiding in those bags. She decided to bring those officers who are watching her. She gets up and start running. As she expected, they are following her. She run quietly on the rooftop and leap when she sees a flag pole. She holds it and spin downwards. The group of strangers notice that they are being follow thus they hurry to walk in the crowded area. Hu Li push and run after them. While behind her the officers are running to the best of their stamina. Hu Li put on her bells as she run and her eyes blaze with golden electric sparks. The group of strangers realises that someone is catching up with them and they all start to run. Soon they are being corner, they tighten their bags on their bodies. Some of them have they knifes out on their hands while the other stand with their fist ready for a fight. The nine of them stand guard staring at Hu Li in a boy's outfit. She smile like Hai, a menace and rather creepy. The three who is at front start to attack. Hu Li doge and attack at the same time. She use the tight space to leap and kick. She cannot kill them but to knock them unconscious. As the opponents are quick and deadly. They aim to kill and run. The rest who aren't attacking attempts to run. Hu Li who see them with the corner of her eyes ring her bells. They stop moving with every bell sound that she makes. While the officers who are running after Hu Li hears people yelling there is a fight in the back alley. They run in to see a fight that they though that they never seen before. A young man leap like a cat and hit the wall that cause a crack on it. A bell sound is heard strangely it cause them to feel as if there are invisible hands that is holding them down. The officer who face Hu Li in the palace wonder why is this feeling so familiar but no matter what he have to arrest them all. He watch Hu Li take them down and their movements are pause every time the bell rings. Hu Li with her speed, she knock them all nine of them down. She turn to face the officers and she smile and wave. She leap over the tall wall and stand there. She look at him and leap down to the other side of the wall. The officers arrest all the strangers on the floor to find explosives in the bags. He stare at the explosives and think of the frenemy stranger is helping him to fish out the danger in this city. No matter how, he needs to find the stranger whether he or a she. For now he have all nine of those arrested. While by the time he manage to climb up the wall, the other side is an alley with silence echoing.
Hu Li decide to go in hiding since the officers are looking out for her. She change her appearance to a young boy who have scars on the face. She act like a bigger on the street. She beg for food and look around the people for strange actions. Hu Li is rather enjoying in this new city playing and acting. Sometimes dogs ands cats will come up to her and sit beside her. She will usually feed them in a back alley. While they will give her the information that she need. They will let her know if the officers are nearby. It fail one day when the officer appear in front of her while she is playing with a baby cat. She look at the boots in front of her and look up. She see the twitching moustache, she smile. He wave to ask her to get up. In a busy street everyone is looking. Hu Li decide to follow them back where they want her to go instead of causing a scene in the busy street.
