Chapter 372 - Chapter 372: Waldo

Chapter 372: Waldo

"Eve, are you okay?"

A child about the same age beside the little girl asked with concern.

"Robert… it really hurts!"

Tears welled up in Eve's eyes as she clutched her forehead, staring at the pebble at her feet.

Robert looked at the stone and his eyes burned with fury.

"Who was it?! Who kicked this rock?! Stand out right now!"

Seeing the condition of his little sister, Robert was livid.

Not just him—the other children around all glared angrily at their surroundings.

They quickly locked onto a particular group of people up ahead.

Robert stepped forward.

"You damn fatty! Was it you who kicked the stone?!"

He pointed straight at Waldo.

At that moment, Waldo's eyes were glued to Eve—his gaze dreamy, nearly lovestruck.

"So cute… so adorable… How can someone be so cute?!"

He muttered to himself, clearly not hearing a word Robert had said.

Robert saw the disgusting way Waldo was staring at his sister and immediately stepped in front of Eve, blocking his view.

When Waldo could no longer see the girl, he finally snapped back to reality—and noticed the boy now standing between them.

"Hey! I'm talking to you, fatty!"

Robert shouted.

Waldo blinked.

Fatty? Was this brat calling him that?

His face flushed red as he realized what had just been said.

"You damn brat! What did you just call me?!"

"Fatty! I said you're a damn fatty!"

Robert had zero intention of being polite, hurling insults right back without restraint.

"Bastard! Guards, seize him! I want to tear his mouth apart!"

Waldo screamed, stomping furiously.

The guards looked at one another awkwardly. Two of them stepped forward toward Robert.

Seeing the approaching hands, Robert smirked coldly.

A vapor of gas began to rise from his body.

Two clouds of gas materialized into giant hands and smacked the guards into Waldo like baseballs.

Boom!

Waldo was flattened under his own guards, pinned beneath their weight.

"Ugh! Cough! Get off me! I can't breathe!"

The fat prince flailed wildly like a squashed caterpillar.

"Hahahaha!"

Behind Robert, several of the other boys burst into laughter.

"Your Highness! Your Highness!"

The other guards rushed to lift the two soldiers off their prince.

Robert grinned at the disheveled Waldo.

He stepped forward.

"Apologize to my sister!"

He pointed at Eve and glared.

Waldo, still panting, stood up with help from his guards, face red with humiliation. He ignored the girl entirely.

"You little bastard! Kill them all! How dare you mock me! I'll torture every last one of you!"

He screamed.

Robert's cheerful expression instantly turned cold.

"You refuse to drink a toast and insist on punishment, huh? Fine—looks like you need to be taught a lesson."

A thick wave of malicious aura surged from Robert.

The guards raised their spears, aiming at the child—but hesitated. That strange power earlier had left them nervous.

Robert stepped forward, emitting gas with every step.

Waves of vapor spread across the area.

"D-Don't come any closer! Guards, stop him!"

Waldo was terrified.

"G-Ghost!"

His legs gave out, and he collapsed to the ground.

The guards, seeing Robert's eerie form—his body nothing but gas save for his floating head—dropped their weapons and ran.

"Ghost! It's a ghost!!"

Robert hovered in midair, his body vaporous, just his head remaining solid.

"Kehehehe…"

He laughed eerily.

"Please don't come near me!!"

Waldo wailed, tears and snot running down his face. He kicked and scrambled backwards on the ground, trying to get away.

Suddenly—

Robert sniffed the air.

A foul stench hit his nose.

His gaze dropped to Waldo's lower body.

"Eww—so gross!"

Robert recoiled and drifted backward, keeping a ten-meter distance.

A disgusting stain spread from Waldo's pants.

He'd soiled himself in fear.

Robert's expression twisted in revulsion.

Waldo sat motionless in the snow, stunned and speechless.

"Seriously disgusting… I can't believe someone got so scared they pooped themselves."

Deidara pinched his nose, visibly nauseated.

The others all looked at Waldo in disgust.

"Isn't he a prince or something? And he's this pathetic?"

Sif asked, finally noticing how the crowd addressed Waldo.

"A prince? Wait, then… did I just cause trouble? Dad told us not to start anything!"

Robert froze as realization dawned.

"It's fine! Being scared to act is cowardice. He's the one who started it—he kicked that rock and hurt Eve!"

Sif said, glancing at Eve's bruised forehead with concern.

"Eve, are you alright?"

"I'm okay, Sis. Just a bit of pain. I'll ice it later and be fine."

Eve replied softly.

"Hmph! He hurt my sister!"

Sif raised her hands, calling forth a swirl of snow.

In the snowy Drum Kingdom, she felt completely at home—like curling up under a warm blanket.

A wave of snow whooshed toward Waldo, burying him completely.

"Will he die like that?" Eve asked, worried.

"Relax. He won't die."

Sif smirked at the snow mound.

It helped cover the foul odor too.

She waved again and formed a soft snowball, wrapping it in cloth before handing it to Eve.

"Here—press this against your forehead. It'll help."

"Thank you, Sis!"

Eve accepted it obediently, holding it against her injury.

"Ugh, what a mood killer! That was so disgusting. Let's get out of here and explore another street!"

Robert grumbled, glancing back at the snow pile with just a head poking out.

He led his siblings away.

Meanwhile, the fleeing guards quickly reported back.

"What?! Someone attacked the prince?! Call for reinforcements—now!"
