Without Alan's instruction, Gwen had never acted recklessly, even though she truly wanted to go with him and Wanda.
Recently, Alan had been spending a lot of time with Wanda—more accurately, their alone time far exceeded what she had with him.
However, Gwen didn't voice her thoughts. She knew that, deep in Alan's heart, there was always a place for her.
Alan slowly stood up, smoothing out the wrinkles on his clothes. "Oh, right, Gwen, if you're free, why don't you come along?"
He figured it wouldn't hurt for Gwen to meet Scott and get familiar with him.
Gwen's eyes widened in surprise. She had already resigned herself to going home alone, lying on her bed, staring at the photos of her and Alan.
She hadn't expected to be invited to Dr. Hank's house.
"Is Red Queen not coming with us?" She asked, looking around, but Red Queen was nowhere to be seen.
"She's not coming," Alan answered for her. Red Queen was busy integrating the remaining Infinity Stones, and every second counted.
She had to hurry and complete the fusion as soon as possible.
Once the three of them were ready, they got into a Maserati. Alan wanted to keep a low profile while visiting Dr. Hank, so he opted not to use teleportation.
The two girls sat in the back seat, exchanging knowing smiles. They both understood each other's feelings for Alan but chose to keep it unspoken.
Soon, they arrived outside Hank Pym's villa. Its deep red exterior hinted at Pym's personality.
Alan rang the doorbell, and shortly after, the door opened.
The three of them were slightly surprised—not because Dr. Hank answered, but because the one who did was a girl in sportswear, wearing boxing gloves on her left hand.
"Hey, Alan, I'm Hope," she introduced herself confidently. Hank had mentioned Alan to her before.
"Hello, Hope." Alan quickly glanced at her outfit and deduced that she must have been training Scott's reaction speed.
Internally, he couldn't help but admire her physique. He just hoped their visit wouldn't disrupt Scott and Hope's training.
Instead of taking them to Dr. Hank's room, Hope led them to another area.
A battle-hungry spark ignited in her eyes—she suddenly had the urge to spar with Alan. Maybe this man wasn't as formidable as he seemed.
Alan immediately noticed Scott sitting on a bench, resting. His eyes and mouth were bruised—clearly, Hope had been rough on him.
Behind him, Gwen and Wanda whispered to each other.
"See? I told you Scott looks a little clueless," Wanda murmured.
Perhaps it was because she had never met anyone who could rival Alan, making her believe there wasn't another man in the universe as powerful as him.
"Agreed!" Gwen nodded slightly. At first, she had doubted it, but—"If Alan thinks he's capable, he probably isn't wrong."
"ALAN!" Scott's voice burst with excitement when he saw him. He had thought Alan had abandoned him here.
Being used as a punching bag by Dr. Hank's violent daughter had been pure torture. Luckily, after a few days, he had started to grasp Hope's fighting techniques.
Though he had managed to avoid getting completely beaten to a pulp, he still took a few hits.
"Scott, how's your training going?" Alan asked.
