There were four people in the room, and between all four of them, there was not a single hair.
One of them was actively speaking to another and holding something out, while the other two were watching the conversation in silence.
The larger one was leaning against a wall, while the second one was just standing to the side as he listened in, giving enough distance to not intrude, while also keeping close enough that he could interrupt at any moment if presented the opportunity.
"Come on, it's not that bad."
A hand held out a mirror in front of Lyn's face, who had her eyes closed.
"I don't want to see it."
Lyn was adamant and turned her head to the side, determined not to see her reflection before she got her hair back.
"Come on, there is no need to be ashamed of your looks, especially since it wasn't your fault you lost all your hair."
Dryan butted in the conversation between Lyn and Bell to offer his opinion.
"I am not ashamed." Lyn clarified quickly, a bit too quickly. "I just don't want to see myself like this." She announced, folding her arms and letting out a huff.
"Just a glance?" Bell offered. "Just a single second." Lyn couldn't see it, but there was a mischievous grin on her face as she shook the mirror she was holding.
"No." Lyn did not budge. "Now, get that away from me so I can open my eyes." She demanded.
"Alright, alright." Bell spoke in acceptance, and the small, hand-held mirror in her hands disappeared, only to be replaced by a much bigger, full-size mirror that she held horizontally.
"Okay, I put it away, you can open your eyes now." She declared, taking two steps backward, her voice not betraying any part of her plan.
"I don't believe you, hey Tonna?" Lyn called out to the fourth person in the room.
"Hmm?" Tonathan, now nicknamed Tonna by Lyn, (Because she thought that saying his name in full was a bit of a mouthful) hummed, watching the situation unfold.
"Did she put it away?" She asked.
Tonathan looked at Dryan, who had brought his index finger to his lips, silently asking for cooperation, then he looked at Bell, who was staring at him with a look that he was quite familiar with.
'Not a bad intimidation stare.' He mentally appraised. 'Too bad it doesn't work on me.'
"She did." He finally spoke, and the glint that flew through Bell's and Dryan's eyes was not hidden from him.
'You owe me one.' His gaze conveyed meaning to Bell, who understood and nodded before turning back to look at her victim.
"Alright then." Lyn turned her head back to its original position and opened her eyes, directly making eye contact with her reflection.
"AARGHHHH!!" A scream sounded, causing Reed, who was doing something with a small, rocket-shaped object to look towards the door.
'That was Lyn's voice, is something wrong?' He quickly stopped his work and connected to Lyn's mind.
"DAMN YOUUU!!!" Lyn was currently trying to pounce at Bell, and was being held back by the combined forces of Tonathan and Dryan.
Bell had retreated backwards, and was currently sweating.
'What the hell is that reaction?'
"Calm down!" Tonathan muttered, trying to stop Lyn's aggression.
"Calm down! Calm down!" Lyn repeated the words she had heard in disbelief. "That horrible image has been ingrained into my memory now, and I will forever remember what I looked like, and you're telling me to CALM DOWN!"
The target of her aggression changed as she clawed at Tonathan's face.
"You traitor! I trusted you! And you betrayed me!" She screamed as Tonathan tried to protect his face from her nails.
A bunch of hisses, ouchs, and eeks emerged from his mouth as he braved the onslaught without fighting back.
"Enough."
Reed's voice sounded through their heads, and Lyn's actions stopped immediately.
"I don't mind you quarreling or fighting, but keep in mind the place and time."
Reed's voice was stern, which caused a bit of fear to arise in Lyn's heart.
"Do you have any idea what screaming like that sounded like?"
Lyn recalled her scream, and shrunk into herself, realizing what had drawn Reed's attention.
"It seems like you have realized, good, don't let that happen again."
With that word of warning, Reed's presence disappeared from their connection, leaving Lyn feeling a bit downcast.
A hand landed on her shoulder, it belonged to the man she had been attacking less than a minute ago.
She looked up at him.
He had an uncharacteristic grin on his face.
"I got all that on camera, so if you ever want to know what you looked lik-" His words were cut short due to a fist that had landed on his abdomen.
"Ungh." He let out a soft grunt as the fist retracted.
"Damn you." Lyn said, with no actual heat behind her words.
"Send me a copy." Dryan's voice sounded out from behind them, and the contents of the sentence brought a scowl to Lyn's face.
"Me too." Bell also wanted a copy.
"Traitor." Lyn muttered as she stormed out of the room, wanting to get her hair back as soon as possible.
