With Venusaur's vines severed, Gliscor swiftly dove towards it, its large pincers ready for attack.

Suddenly, the Sandstorm ceased, the howling winds gradually subsided, and the dust slowly dispersed.

This abrupt change stunned Tamagawa Naoki, who then noticed Ninetales' nine tails fluttering, emitting a radiant glow. Simultaneously, the surrounding temperature spiked, making the sunlight even more intense.

A powerful azure shockwave surged towards Gliscor, unmistakably Lian unleashing Dragon Pulse.

The forceful impact of Dragon Pulse sent Gliscor flying, halting its assault on Venusaur and preventing it from losing combat capability.

Following the release of Dragon Pulse, Lian took advantage of Sunny Day to gaze at the sky. Moments later, ten massive fireballs materialized overhead, followed by a loud explosion as one of them detonated instantly.

Creating ten fireballs simultaneously was already Lian's limit, but once he triggered the explosion of one, the rest would follow suit without further intervention.

Having previously maxed out Wrath of Fire's move potential, Lian now wielded it with greater proficiency. However, he hadn't had the chance to test its effectiveness in actual combat until this moment.

As the initial burst of flames exploded, countless embers descended towards the ground like a fiery rain shower.

With Sunny Day active, these falling flames burned intensely, radiating scorching heat and carrying explosive force upon impact.

"What kind of move is that?" The Dark Guild member wondered aloud, hastily dodging aside to avoid being struck by the flames. Although they appeared weak, getting hit could still prove fatal.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sudden onslaught of plummeting fire posed a significant challenge for slower Pokemon like Tyranitar, which repeatedly took hits. Fortunately, the impact from these flames was relatively mild for Tyranitar, as it inherently possesses resistance to Fire-type moves. Even with Sunny Day amplifying their effect, the numerous small flames were negligible against it.

While Tyranitar could ignore the flames, Gliscor and Drapion were not immune to their influence. With so many flames raining down, it became impossible to evade entirely, ensuring multiple impacts over time. As the battle prolonged, the frequency of strikes increased, accumulating gradual damage. This sustained attrition is precisely the purpose behind Wrath of Fire's devastating capability.

However, with cumulative damage over time, the impact becomes significant. This is the essence of Wrath of Fire, its formidable sustained attrition capability.

The downside is that it does not discriminate between friend and foe; Venusaur also gets hit by the flames continuously. Fortunately, since Venusaur hasn't been targeted directly yet, it doesn't pose a major issue.

After unleashing Wrath of Fire, Lian swiftly took action. The previous Sunny Day was cast by Ninetales, so now he could continue using Fire-type moves without interruption.

Lian observed Tyranitar, which had already taken two hits from Serperior's Leaf Storm. Even if Tyranitar still had stamina, it wouldn't be much left. Therefore, Lian decided to defeat Tyranitar first, avoiding any potential complications like Rest or similar moves.

This battle differed significantly from his earlier encounters; this opponent was exceptionally strong. Lian knew his primary goal must be defeating them outright, otherwise, there was a risk of losing control. From the initial skirmish, it was clear Gliscor possessed far greater speed than his own Pokemon.

Drapion's speed was no slouch either, as both Gliscor and Drapion charged towards him simultaneously. Lian lacked confidence in immediately defeating both opponents, making it crucial to take down Tyranitar first, given its relative vulnerability.

Lian swiftly unleashed Flamethrower. Previously, Tyranitar could resist Leaf Storm mainly due to its increased Special Defense from the Sandstorm weather effect. Now with Sunny Day activated, no matter how resilient, Tyranitar couldn't withstand Lian's Flamethrower.

As Flamethrower was released, Tyranitar didn't passively await its fate. Having reached this level, it possessed strong combat instincts and immediately fired another Hyper Beam. A blinding beam emerged from its mouth, aiming to counter Lian's Flamethrower.

Lian wouldn't let Tyranitar block his Flamethrower so easily. He decisively split the Flamethrower into two streams, reducing their power but still sufficient to defeat Tyranitar.

Boom!

The Flamethrower collided fiercely with the Hyper Beam, generating intense energy waves that swept through surrounding trees and foliage.

With only half the original power, Flamethrower couldn't withstand the immense force of Hyper Beam, but Lian's objective had been achieved as one stream of flames continued unabated towards Tyranitar.

Boom!

Swish!

In an instant, Lian surged with speed, evading both the Hyper Beam and Gliscor's massive pincers, as well as Drapion's Poison Fang attack. He had been closely monitoring these two Pokemon, ensuring they wouldn't catch him off guard easily.

Simultaneously, Ninetales and Grovyle joined the fray. Although their abilities were not on par with the others, having them contribute still made a difference.

Lian alone couldn't withstand all three opponents; however, with Grovyle and Ninetales sharing the pressure, it became more manageable.

"You focus on dodging, I'll handle the attacks," Lian instructed. In such chaotic battles, Trainers typically struggle to coordinate effectively due to limited reaction time.

Even in 1v1 combat, constant observation is required before issuing commands. During chaotic battles, Pokemon must rely primarily on their training, with occasional reminders from the Trainer. Attempting full control would often result in Pokemon being unable to execute moves in time.

Thus, Lian needed to direct strategy, clearly dividing tasks between Grovyle and Ninetales. If left entirely to their own devices, they would likely be overwhelmed, just like last time.

Ninetales and Grovyle understood that Lian was their strongest ally, nodding before unleashing their moves to divert attention from Drapion and Gliscor.

Meanwhile, Lian's Flamethrower struck Tyranitar directly. Without the prior depletion by two rounds of Leaf Storms, defeating Tyranitar would have been immensely challenging for Lian.

However, due to the earlier attrition, his Flamethrower successfully overpowered Tyranitar. This final burst of Flamethrower acted as the last straw, breaking its resistance.

Boom!

Tyranitar's heavy body could no longer maintain its stance and collapsed with a loud thud, kicking up clouds of dust.

Despite defeating Tyranitar, Lian remained vigilant. Although it seemed like four against two, both Gliscor and Drapion possessed exceptional strength, and neither had sustained significant damage yet.

"Hmph, Gliscor, Drapion, unleash your full power!" Seeing Tyranitar fall, the Dark Guild man snorted, recalled Tyranitar into its Poké Ball, and issued a commanding shout.

He didn't want to wait any longer; once Kalia's Pokémon were defeated, he planned to snatch the Z-Ring immediately and make a swift exit, unwilling to waste more time.

Suddenly, Drapion displayed a pained expression as if suffering from a severe injury and let out a low roar.

"What's happening?" The Dark Guild man was taken aback, then glanced at the falling flames above. These relentless bursts of fire caused immense discomfort, yet he felt powerless against them.

However, these flames didn't seem particularly potent; at most, they hindered movement. How could they make Drapion show such agony?

The only plausible explanation was that these flames might induce a Burn status effect, and coincidentally, Drapion had been affected.

"Is my luck really this good?"

Lian was astonished but realized it made sense. Since the system categorized Wrath of Fire as a move, reaching its maximum potential would likely trigger additional effects occasionally.

Although the chance may be slim, unlike ordinary moves that dissipate after one use, Wrath of Fire is continuous. This means each flame has a possibility of inflicting a Burn status on the opponent's Pokemon.

Despite the low probability, quantity can eventually lead to quality change. With enough exposure to the flames, sooner or later, success is bound to strike!
